Casas da Levada

We spent a total of two weeks in Madeira and visited many places and hotels. We have many beauty memories of this island because we got married there. And staying in this place will also be one of those special places that we will remember for a long time. Our house was beautiful, very spacious and cozy. It had everything you needed. Very efficient check-in and check-out. The entire area is a beautiful space with a view of the sunset. There are bunnies, chickens and ducks. Lots of greenery. There is peace and quiet here, you can really relax. We received bread every day, and everything we needed was in the fridge or in the shop. Great idea with the Hobbit bar. And this swimming pool with sun loungers. You can see that the hosts put a lot of effort into this place. We regret that our plans did not allow us to stay longer... Thank you very much!!

Me and my sister stayed here this month, and it was incredible. The location is so beautiful, the garden was amazing, and I picked fresh tomatoes and herbs. The little house was so cozy and it was well equipped to cook in. The weather in this part of the island is also good so you can relax very well on the sun beds, or take a dip in the pool. Just like in any place in Madeira, you need nerves of steel to drive and park here.

Unimaginably wonderful rural stay on Madeira. Wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else… Restored with care and taste, original concept… in-house mini market, Hobbit bar, animals, nature, views… you name it!!! Loved our stay!

A lovely rural setting with sea views and sunset. Agricultural buildings have been renovated to a good standard. Several annoyances detracted from our two night stay - non functioning toilet and several appliances, smelly toilets and ongoing renovation work in the adjoining unit meant it was not the peaceful paradise we had been expecting.

Casas da Levada was possibly the best place we have ever stayed at on vacation. For us it was perfect. We loved the rural experience, the peace and quiet, the gardens, the chickens, the hobbit bar. Everything is so well thought out. There are a few nice levada walks that start right outside the property and there are a few good restaurants close by. For everything else you have to drive a little bit. Thank you for having us, we hope to be back someday.
