Great location but a strange hotel. Simple things like getting an iron was an absolute mission. It feels like maybe once a great hotel, but is slowly needing a bit more uptake and care. I imagine the best one in Lamego, but felt it was a bit lacking

Relatively new hotel and this super clean and nice looking. We spent 3 nights visiting the duoro valley. This is a good location, as you have lamego as a smaller city, and also a lot of Quinta's in approx 30-45 min driving range. The hotel is located directly in the city center. This parking can be tricky in the high season. In low season we always found paid roadside parking directly in front of the hotel. But there is also a free parking lot approx. 7 min walking distance, when you want to leave your car longer. The breakfast (buffet, or singular plates when there are fewer guests) in the hotel is very good. We haven't tried the dinner. But we assume it's similarly well! There are also some restaurants for local food around. They also have a big indoor pool and a sauna. But the sauna might be a bit small (max 4 person), if there are multiple guests. But everything was very good. We would definitely come here again! Also big thanks to the team for helping us with our day plans.

Excellent hotel, the reception staff Nonu & Beatriz have been amazing! Very accommodating and professional. The rooms are lovely and the indoor pool is a great addition. Definitely coming back. Had to edit to mention how good the nights stay was. Excellent breakfast, excellent staff. The decor, style and atmosphere is very classy and for an excellent price.

High end hotel / spa. Just wonderful. Very pleasant stay and I REALLY can't say enough about the restaurant here. We typically never do hotel restaurants as we like to get out and immerse ourselves in less insular, local establishments but they really exceeded all expectations. We did one night here and were so impressed we booked again for our last night in Lamego. Impeccable service, Tony really runs an elegant and culinary gem here. I have been less impressed with some Michelin locations.

This hotel is great. The rooms are not large, but thoughtfully laid out and very comfortable. The price was quite fair. We stayed in the deluxe room with veranda and had an excellent view. The restaurant is a highlight and was so good we ate there every night. The location is perfect for exploring lamego.
