I had a good experience in this hotel. The staff was exceptionally polite and helpful. The high-quality breakfast stood out, and the restaurant offered the best cod I've had in Portugal – impressive presentation and perfect preparation. The room provided a beautiful view, though the bathroom lacked some privacy. While the spa is simple, it was enjoyable. Overall, I recommend this establishment."

Excellent short stay here in one of their suite rooms which had windows on 3 sides and views and balcony over the valley and vineyards. Predominantly Portuguese guests when we stayed which was reassuring and staff very friendly and wanting to help. We had an issue on one night with an exceptionally long wait for food but the staff recognised that and addressed it more than satisfactorily during our stay. Outdoor area around the pool was also nice to enjoy some sun and relaxation. Location is quite remote but then benefits from stunning views over the vineyards and valley below. Food was of a high standard including the breakfast. Facilities also included gym, indoor pool and spa treatments.

On a two week trip across Spain and Portugal, the two nights spent in this hotel were a highlight. I can't recommend this place enough. We were a bit weary from our travels and this hotel was exactly what we needed. Claudio met all of our needs and more! All staff were excellent and extremely kind and friendly. The view from this property is what it's all about! And this hotel allows you to "feel" that view. Highly recommend!

The swimming pool offers an awe-inspiring backdrop, while the indoor facility features a warm pool, hamman, and sauna in the spa—promising rejuvenation. Its strategic location ensures access to a plethora of wineries and restaurants. Highly recommend it!

NOT a 5 star hotel by a long shot but they do offer a gorgeous view. Here are some findings from our stay: Parking has no elevator (drop your bags at reception before parking if you have large luggage). No robes/slippers provided (isn’t this standard in a 5 star hotel?!). You need a swim cap to use the indoor pool. There are no refreshment services at the outdoor pool. No do not disturb signs for the room door. No coffee or tea facilities in room. Offer no wine experiences (as per website) - don’t be fooled, they have none and no partnerships. You need to arrange them yourself and have to drive yourself everywhere (they are not located close to any) - considering they call themselves a wine and spa hotel … very disappointing! They are clearly understaffed so some bar staff you’ll also notice are plating your dinner too. Small and limited wine menu and very limited restaurant menu (items frequently run out). One-way doors to the balcony by the restaurant (we got locked out and had to knock on the window for another guest to let us back in). The restaurant staff are amazing, our waiter was so attentive and his english was excellent. So too was our check-in and check-out staff. All in all, wouldn’t stay here again. Definitely not a 5* as they advise, more like a 3*. Not bad but wouldn’t recommend.
