The hotel was clean and had a comfortable bed but the services were terrible for a 4 star hotel. The breakfast was awful and I don't even know where they found those ingredients in Portugal. Totally unsatisfied and not recommended.

Excellent hotel. Lovely room - very comfortable with all the extra touches at a reasonable price. Wonderful position near the beach, too.

This hotel must have had an upgrade recently. It is modern, spotless, contemporary and amazing value for money at 70euro. We had a large room overlooking central area with balcony and our friends had the same. Cannot fault the staff or the building. Spot on. Obviously however you will get rust in some outside metalwork as it faces the full force of the Atlantic. But well worth coming for the price. Space for motorhome parking also

The reception treated us very bad from the beginning on. The director of the hotel was really impolite and arrogant until the point she knew that one of our family members was a Sargent. Very very unprofessional. Also the two receptionist were really impolite.
The staff is nice, I wish they would find a different hotel to work for.
The hotel is not worth the 4 stars! The rooms are worst than a 2 star hotel!
There are way better hotels in Portugal, and I’m really ashamed as a Portuguese citizen that people from other countries have to share this experience.

The hotel is OK. The reason for the lower rating is due to an incident. Although the clean the room sign was posted from 10AM, during one day nobody went to clean and change the towels. That is a basic requirement in any hotel and furthermore in a 4star one. There were no explanation and no apologies for the situation.
