Sea Garden Residência

Our stay at this hotel was acceptable overall, but we encountered a significant issue. While the hotel is fine for a short stay, we were overwhelmed by the strong scent of perfume in the rooms, bedding, and throughout the hotel. The scent was so intense that our clothes smelled like bubble gum after just one night. Unfortunately, I'm allergic to strong perfumes—while I can handle mild scents, this was excessive. When we brought this up with the receptionist, she seemed surprised that we didn’t like the fragrance and wasn’t particularly sympathetic. We requested fresh bedding that hadn’t been sprayed, and while we had to change it ourselves since the receptionist was the only staff member available, that part wasn’t an issue. What really upset us was her response to my allergy: "You should have mentioned that when you booked." We explained that, as world travelers, we’ve never encountered this problem before, but it seemed she didn’t fully grasp that allergies can be serious. If you’re sensitive to strong smells or dislike the constant scent of bubble gum, I’d recommend avoiding this hotel. On a positive note, the breakfast offered good variety. However, parking is inconvenient; it’s on the street in front of the hotel, and you need to pay €1 every two hours if you manage to find a spot.

The room was nice and they were flexible with the check in as we arrived at night. Location is really good as they Are in the centre of Peniche. Bed was clean and confortable But the bathroom need to be more clean as they had a quiet a lot mold in it. Expect this it was a nice stay for 1 night

Superb hotel. Much bigger than it looks. Very clean and warm. Our room on the front top floor was well insulated and quiet. Bed very comfortable. Good quality sheets. Excellent ensuite with great water pressure. Breakfast fresh and tasty. Loved the bacon. The staff are excellent and the value is second to none. Also close to the centre. I would recommend his place unless you want a huge room, it's OK. The vibe here is super cool, and the ambiance is relaxed and chill. I would definitely come back here. Breakfast is included, and there are plenty of sights and the ocean is within walking distance.

Really nice hotel. Very clean in a great location. The breakfast was great and offered so much more than we expected. Staff were brilliant and super helpful. We had a problem with our hire car meaning we had to stay an extra night short notice and the staff went above and beyond to help us out. Very nice people!
