My husband and I just completed our 10-day stay at The Albatroz Hotel. It was everything we were looking for and we will definitely stay here again. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. It was in walking distance to the beach and the downtown for shopping and food. Our room was clean and maintained. We had a wonderful view of the ocean and balcony. The bed was perfect for us (we tend to prefer a harder mattress). The staff couldn't have been nicer to us - helping us with any questions or needs that we had. Special shoutout to Victor the evening bartender. He was amazing - friendly, kind, and treated us like family. He has a great sense of humor and made us feel super special.

The hotel's location is excellent, right in the city center and directly on the beach, which was convenient.
However, this hotel falls short of a true 5-star experience. The level of service and facilities are more in line with a 3-star establishment. The breakfast was disappointing, with a low-quality buffet and no à la carte menu options.
The rooms are small, outdated, and lacked the comfort and service we expected from a 5-star hotel. Our room faced the parking lot, not the "city view" as advertised, which was quite misleading.
For the price and service, it would be acceptable for a 3-star hotel. But compared to other 5-star experiences, our stay was extremely disappointing.

We had diner at Albatroz restaurant. The view is amazing even at night. The food was excellent, gastronomic, nice presentation and very good taste. The staff was welcoming: especial thanks to Lucas and Mariane. Thanks

We had a passport stolen from our room while at dinner at the hotel. The staff tried to put the blame on us, even when the police were called. We have time stamped photos of the passport in the room. The staff refused to contact the maid that, unknown to us, came into the room and performed an evening turn down service. Suspiciously, the maid had also left as soon as we returned to the room. Furthermore, we both woke up covered in some sort of insect bite likely from the bed. If this weren’t enough… the elevator broke and started loudly beeping at 6 am. The hotel showed no desire to fix it, nor did they offer so much as an apology for the disruption and inconvenience. DO NOT COME HERE

The best experience in a hotel in a long time. The staff is top notch. Their attention to detail. Best service, super clean rooms, right on the water the pool
