Embassy Suites by Hilton Doha Old Town

Located in a quiet area but close to the landmarks and attractions - 5 mins drive. The staff was fantastic and the hotel was beautifully decorated with modern amenities. We loved the suite - high ceilings, nicely furnished and the shower, amazing!!!! Highly recommend the hotel for your next stay. I only stayed one night during a long layover in Doha.

The staff was very friendly and professional. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was excellent, and the location was good.

I would highly recommend this hotel. Great location in the Old Doha. 16 minute walk to the Doha National Museum and 15 minutes drive to airport. We arrived early and they got us into room above 11am instead of 2pm. The bed and pillows were super. Buffet breakfast was very good plus they have snacks and beverages at 5pm.

Hotel was clean and modern, great bed and pillows. Had a great night’s sleep.

I like the amenities and size of the suite. The restaurant is good, breakfast is good, We had trouble opening one of the closet doors. They tried to fix it but not successful.

Great staff

A really nice hotel a few minutes walk from Souq Waqif. The hotel has a lovely swimming pool on the room with great views across the corniche to the Doha downtown skyline. I arrived at 1am and received a very friendly and efficient welcome, same when I left at 5.30am. The breakfast is superb, a really nice mix of fresh fruit, bakery, cooked foods. All the staff were super friendly from the reception, breakfast, valet and cleaning. The room was a double bedroom with a nice bathroom, plus a separate lounge area, both rooms had a TV, plus a seperate toilet in addition to the one in the bathroom. The room was very well appointed, nice modern fittings, everytime I thought 'I need to plug in my phone etc' where I was looking there was a plug, each side of the double bed had electrical sockets and USB sockets - high standard of fittings in the room. I'm a very frequent traveller and I couldn't find an improvement to suggest for this hotel.

Beautiful hotel with friendly staff

I would like to thank the reception staff. Lama and a male individual (From Morocco) who i cant remember there name of unfortunately has giving an excellent welcoming and service. The restaurant staff also had provided an excellent service and accommodating us with our needs. Thanks to our omelette chef for making sure our food was always on point. Thank you Embassy Suite Staff.

For all the rave reviews, I was honestly expecting better. While I was SUPER thankful they had a room ready for me to check into at 7:30am, and the checkout time is late, the quality just wasn’t there for me. There was no shampoo in the container in the shower, the toilet water ran constantly, I didn’t love walking the neighborhood as a solo female traveler, and the AC never adjusted to what I set it to (stayed way too cold). The price was great, and it was walking distance to the Souq Waqif, but I don’t think I’d stay here again.

Very pleasant stay. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and housekeeping was available daily. Breakfast has a good selection of food with mainly international items but there were local dishes and varied each day. I’d stay here again if I returned to Doha

Absolutely loved the rooftop pool and the views from it.

Excellent location, great service. Stayed almost a week. Nice size room, with a desk and a sofa + extra seating which was very useful for a couple of days when we stayed in because of heat during the day. Very close to metro, and a short walk to a few very interesting parts of Doha (Souq Wakif, Islamic cultural centre, Falcon Souq, Blue mosque; a lot to see and do). Amazing service (friendly, polite and prompt), from reception, breakfast, pool, to room service staff. Breakfast is great and versatile, but not many options for those with food allergies/intolerancies. Qatar overall is not great for GF, but you can find GF products in Carefour supermarket in City Shopping Centre. I am a celiac and needed gluten free food. Breakfast staff were very understanding and made eggs for me every morning. They did not use a separate frying pan or cutlery so make sure you tell them if you react badly. I don't react badly (yet), so I was OK with that. They did have GF bread which they warmed up for me every morning. I was very grateful as staff in most restaurants had no idea what I was talking about when I mentioned GF. Shame the pool closed early (around 8 p.m.) as we would have loved the option to go swimming later in the evening. It meant a lot to us that the hotel offered us complimentary late checkout (until 4 p.m.), as we had a night flight back to Sydney. Thank you. Overall, we would gladly go back to the same hotel if we stayed in Doha again.

Beautiful room and view. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that there was no hot water and the elaborate bidet did not work. It’s so hot in Doha that the cold water shower was refreshing.

A very good hotel. 15 min taxi ride from the airport, walking distance to Souq Waqif metro station. The decor is modern and comfortable, although there was some wear and tear. The breakfast restaurant has enough local and international options, plus fruits and salad. The variety is not huge but sufficient. The gym is separated into male and female rooms. The male gym is huge but the female gym is small with limited equipment. We had a pleasant stay
