Steigenberger Hotel Doha

Excellent hotel close by to the airport and conveniently located near to popular Doha tourist spots. Exceptional service and very clean throughout

The hotel itself looks very grand and luxurious and impressive on entering, but that’s where it ends unfortunately The reception staff were cold and unfriendly. Upon checking in we asked regarding a room upgrade to the junior suite which was available. We asked for this as complimentary excuses when we booked the week before, we paid £120 more for their smaller superior room! Yet on arrival the costs of all rooms had dropped significantly, despite this we asked for an upgrade to junior suite but cheekily the staff said there would be an additional charge of £40 extra per night. In addition the TV did not work throughout our 3 night stay from check in to check out. We Phoned reception every day and was promised it would be dealt with and was never fixed. This was Abysmal service for what is supposedly a 5* “VIP” hotel. I have never experienced such poor staff service at a 5* hotel. Finally the breakfast at the hotel was incredibly poor, for such a grand hotel it’s more like a breakfast for a city hotel. We were taken aback by how limited the number of items on offer for breakfast and how small the size of the serving area was. There was littl variety of friut, little to non existent service m, not once were we offered a cup of tea. The staff were there for show and it is not what you would expect from a name such as Steigenberger. All in all this could be a 5* hotel but the staff and non existent maintenance team and breakfast let the hotel down massively

Lovely hotel with great amenities and exceptional staff, especially Isaac, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Conveniently located within walking distance to a money exchange, supermarket, pharmacy, and Nando's for a delicious meal.

I really enjoyed my stay and the staff were very friendly and helpful when I needed anything. The rooms were better than the pictures and so spacious.

Great, friendly and very helping staff and great spacious rooms. The surrounding area is not crowded with close options to dine out. Room service was top notch highly recommend!! The only downside in our room - room 324 - that it was not well sound proof. I was able to hear the room next door and the hall , they were not even loud!

The hotel room and service was amazing. Could not fault a thing.

Very friendly and supportive frontline staff. Reasonably short distance from the airport. Rooms were at a high standard of cleanliness. Easily see myself re-booking this place for a longer stay next time I am in Doha.

The Hotel was exactly as it looked on website, we were very pleased, parking was free and very easy in the basement car park The rooms were great as was the dining. The roof top pool was also very nice. Despite it not being very far from the airport there was no noise to disturb you at all.

The staff are amazing at this hotel. Very accommodating. Taxis are very accessible. It’s so clean and well maintained. Had a lovely stay here. Will return for sure. Thank you. A staff named arjun really helped me as I had accidentally misplaced something. Really good service

Comfortable and spacious and clean. Staff very accommodating for example prayer mats and iron were provided. Special mention and thanks to Shyam for being welcoming and accommodating, thank you for the prayer mat
