Atrium Hotel Bucharest City Center

The rooms were clean and good looking, the furniture is a little old. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing, a lot of options.

Business trip. Had a 3 day reservation.Checked in, took a fast shower and tried to leave for an important meeting... But the door wouldn't lock. Called the receptionist, he couldn't lock It either, and went looking for the technician, even though we said we were in a hurry. He could not find the technician, and was just standing there with no solution for us, so we asked for another room. He said there were no more rooms available. I asked him to call a manager and set us up somewhere else. The only thing we got was 1 night out of the three reserved somewhere else. We needed three nights. Leaving equipment unattended in an unlocked room is dangerous. We were already late and losing money, and they didn't seem to find any solution, even though the entire thing was their fault. We had to gather all our things and leave in a hurry just to find our car blocked by another car whose owner was not a guest there, but left their nr at the reception. The clerk told us to park in front of the barrier as the underground parking was not available...so we had to wait another 10 minutes for the person to remove his car. Just for the wasted time, energy and money we are still expecting (and are entitled to) some kind of compensation, even though we did not pay for the room itself. It's up to the manager to decide in what form that will come...

I would rate it with 4 stars, (good breakfast and good location,also the men at reception were very polite) but you are losing 2 stars because of the lady at reception who was very rude with us , she had a huge attitude(you don't say to someone who paid 332€ "how should I know when the client will come to take his car, he is at his room and I am down here...!!!!!"" We could also be rude but we weren't rude...and we were just waiting...And similar situation with the car we had and the last night...so our plans canceled...but the boy t the reception didn't have attitude.. so if we Wanted to leave early because we should drive about 6+ hours maybe couldn't because of the parking cars?!?!?!?! So that's because the last night we got forced to park elsewhere the car to not have problems third time......it's your responsibility to collect the keys from other clients or have a person all the time to do this job... you don't have parking if I can't use it with the right way... consider that and make some changes.

I slept only because I was too tired. The room stinks like hell, the mattress is the worst I ever had in a hotel and the curtain in the bathroom it’s disgusting. The staff is friendly though, it’s not their fault. However I would never stay in this hotel again and the photos are pretty much fake, filtered…

I had high hopes for this hotel given its convenient location. Unfortunately, I encountered several issues during my stay. The overall cleanliness did not meet standard expectations, with a noticeable odor present in various areas. The room's condition was also a letdown, as it didn't quite match the online photos. I was concerned to find the tap water with a yellowish tint, and the bathroom facilities were in need of attention. Regarding the breakfast, it was a bit disappointing both in temperature and variety, and it didn't quite hit the spot taste-wise. I wanted to love this place, but I think it might benefit from some improvements. I'd have reservations about recommending it as is, also the waa kids screaming and running in the hall all night.
