Bucharest Comfort Suites

We had a terrible time in this hotel. It's incredibly dark there, the rooms are full of furniture that's living out its last days, clearly made in last century (60s I'd guess). Power sockets are awful, the light in the room flickered before fully turning on. The staff said that they didn't have an extra room key (card) when we asked for a second one because "they get lost all the time and we don't have them". And finally, the breakfast. It's located on the floor below ground, it smells terrible in there (kitchen smells and overall stuffy), and the cherry on top - literal cockroaches around your table. The food was also hardly appetizing, limited choices and poor taste. The staff was pretty friendly and location good but that doesn't redeem this place calling itself a hotel.

This is not a 4-star hotel but a bad joke. Amenities are cheap and insufficient for a 4-person suite booking that I made. False advertising: photos do not correspond to the room I was given. Bad smell, horrible bathroom, hardly usable. Derelict rooms and furniture. They don’t have a parking lot. A total mess.

I visited Bucharest with my two young daughters and my brother, in February half term (UK school term). Our visit was overall a fantastic experience. This hotel is great value for the price, staying 3 nights in total. The location is great, it's in the city centre and a short walk from all the amenities required (bars, restaurants, shops etc). I have to say, the staff at reception were so helpful and friendly. They made us feel so welcomed and they always asked if everything was ok with our stay and if we needed anything (day and night!). So a massive thank you to Ana and Nikoleta for making our stay, that extra special! The halls are decorated with lovely murals. If you are looking for a budget hotel in the city this is a great option.

Having read some horror stories in these reviews, I thought I should share my experience. I was travelling on a budget, and switched to this hotel as it was half the price of the one I’d originally booked. The guests who criticised the old rooms and restricted views by the advert banner were correct, however, the rooms and hotel I experienced were spotlessly clean, did not smell, and very spacious. I slept well. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. For me, this was a good experience overall, and represented good value for money.

Dear Comfort Suites, I am writing to complain about my recent stay at your hotel. I booked a room for four nights, from 20/07/2023 to 24/07/2023, and was very disappointed with the experience. Eli Moshe made the reservation When I arrived at the hotel, the room did not look like the pictures on the website. The bed was not made, the sheets were dirty, and there was a strong odor of smoke in the air. I immediately went to the front desk to complain, but the staff member I spoke to was unhelpful and dismissive. Over the next few days, I continued to have problems with the room. The toilet was frequently blocked, the shower had a weak flow, and the air conditioning was not working correctly. I complained to the staff several times, but they never seemed to take my complaints seriously. In addition to the problems with the room, I also had problems with the hotel staff. They were often rude and unhelpful, and they did not seem to care about the guests' experience. For example, one night I asked the front desk to call a taxi for me, but they refused. They said that they were too busy and that I would have to call a taxi myself. I am very disappointed with my stay at your hotel. I expected to have a pleasant experience, but I was instead met with a series of problems. I am requesting a full refund for my stay. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.
