I really enjoyed my last stay and found the room (overlooking the canal) to be very comfortable, with kettle and coffee machine, as well as mugs and smaller cups. (Much nicer than a room I had on a previous visit that didn’t enjoy much of a view.)
The fridge in the room was a little loud on occasion but this was minor. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the shower was nice and hot.
The breakfast area was clean and quiet. Just after I had taken a small serving of hot buffet items, one of the staff came over to my table to apologise that they had just realised that all the food from the serving containers was cold and needed to be heated. Mistakes happen so it wasn’t a particular problem. The coffee was hot and I settled for toast.
The staff were lovely at the reception, as well as in the restaurant. Excellent location for the Mailbox and canal side restaurants, pub and cinema. There is a Tesco next door too.

Check-in was nice and helpful, left case in room and room was nicely furnished, well equipped and clean. Then found red weather warning was getting worse and would not get home the following day, so just checked out and left for home. I had a non-refundable room, though thought staff might have made an effort and offered some sort of discount on future stay as I had breakfast booked for my wife and I too.

Overall nice, clean and modern hotel in central location. Only bug bear was we paid for early check-in in advance(12pm) but we noted two other parties checked in at the same time and were provided rooms without the charge for early check-in. So future lesson would be to arrive and see if the room is available rather then paying in advance, which I believe is rather unequitable.

It was a lovely clean room with good facilities.... hand soap wasnt working hut hardly skmething to complain about as body wash etc all provided and available. Bar service was attentive without being intrusive.....

Hotel itself was really nice, good location, really friendly staff, nice bar etc however there were also migrants staying in the hotel which was evident at breakfast.
Its hard to fathom when we pay good money to stay here. Welcome to the promise land!!

Booked a night stay here over new year and honestly couldnt fault the hotel its absolutely beautiful 😍 staff are very accommodating and nothing is to much ask for them! Lovely spacious rooms comfortable beds with great views of glashow city and the little tunnoks caramel waffer is a lovely touch! 100% will be staying again.

Easy self check in, staff are so friendly, room beautiful and very clean, very comfortable beds, bathroom spotless.
Only issue we had, was the heating kept switching off, called reception who switched it on, had to call again later in the evening, again it was switched back on, although, we were offerered a room change which I declined since we were leaving in the morning, however, staff very quickly provided us with a small portable heater, I was advised to press the standby button located on the top right of the panel, had tried this several times beforehand and it still wouldn't work. Woke up in the morning, again, room very cold, heating off again, reception asked to press the standby button again, didn't work, so activated the heating from reception again, thankfully had the backup heater. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely return again and would highly recommend this hotel to others.
