Have stayed in motel one hotels before. This one was in a great location on the edge of the old town and yet very handy to the new town. It is a budget hotel but cannot fault it for value for money. Would stay there again

It was a good home base for old town Edinburgh. The floors creaked when the neighboring room came home, there was no natural light (one very small window that didn’t open and had an opaque film over it), and occasionally people would be smoking/emptying out recycling under our window… but, it’s a very old town and you have to just kind of embrace it. Still gave a 4 star because we loved the town and this hotel was a good value for the price.
