Hotel Philos

I have never seen the restroom where there is no shower curtain or glass wall, yet electrical outlets are put right next to the tub without any protection such as even simple cap to avoid splash from shower. This is not even the matter of satisfaction but safety. I blame both hotel and municipal government with lame administration and maintenance.

They up graded our stay smoothly. No hassle, no fuss. I liked it.

It was so so. Not great but good for economical budget.

I had no choice but to book this hotel due to a conference scheduled to take place at the hotel. When you walk into the lobby, it looks like a nice hotel. The reception desk is to the far left past an awkwardly placed ATM machine. It looked like no one was behind the desk until you came closer and someone was sitting so low behind the counter, you could not see that person unless she stood up. You would've think, being Korea and customer service is very well established, that she would greet you upon hearing the rolling of your luggage wheels however, she just sat there until you put your elbows on the counter and said "excuse me". I get it that Pohang is an industrial city and that the hotel is not an international hotel, so English is not practiced however, about 200 people were attending this conference and they knew well in advance the Americans were coming. I went to the hotel gym only to find it dark and unoccupied. The bar was also "closed". It was a ghost hotel, only the woman behind the reception counter was the only employee. I bought the daily breakfast buffet package for KrW10,000. I came to breakfast around 0800 every morning and most of the food was gone. The porridge looked like it stayed in the crock pot overnight and became a pot of thick paste with a crust on top. The eggs were cold and the rice was old! Not worth the money. Poor service! Everytime I would "try" to call the front desk/service there would be no answer. For about 5 hrs the TV, phones, and internet was down. I go down to the front desk.....no one there. (Sign up...Be back in 5 mins). Room carpet looked like a murder scene from a movie, and there was no shower curtains....so lots of water every morning. Sleeping that bed was like out doors camping on the ground. No gym on site...website shows pictures of a good looking gym. False advertising no gym. Not impressed and not recommended. Stay at the local homeless shelter....Better service and facilities.

It's been so nice staying in this hotel, and the service was great.

Nice hotel, big and spacious but old. There is no gym as noted on website. Floor is dirty and carpet is old inside the room, but the room is not overall bad. Would be my #2 choice behind Best Western in the future. Staff was helpful and kind. 2 spacious beds for the family (wife and 2 kids). AC was immediately available and room was cold in a pinch.

When you see the hotel from the outside and the lobby, you get a great first impression, but do not be deceived! The check-in took less than 30 seconds, which is always great! However, upon entering our room, it immediately made me wonder what the maid does when "cleaning" the room. There were old candy and gum wrappers up against the baseboards. The floor was incredibly stained. The room overall looked dilapidated and in dire need of renovation. A really dirty appearance and completely unappealing. Definitely not worth the amount of money that they ask for on a nightly basis.

Wasn't expecting much. Decent room and service, typical small town surroundings. Overall a pleasant stay

청소 상태가 너무 안좋았습니다

방음이 잘 안되는 것 같아요.. 다른 호실에서 화장실 쓰는 소리가 다들리고 모기가 나와서 잘때 불편했어요. 그리고 타월이나 이불에 얼룩이 약간 있어서 별로 청결하지 않은 것 같았습니다.

아주 청결하고 편안한 숙소예요..

저렴한 숙박료에 넓은 주차공간과 간단한 조식이 좋았습니다 칫솔과 치약 면도기등이 무료제공 되지않고 유료로 자판기 이용은 불만사항 였습니다

남편과 함께 2박3일 포항여행을 필로스에서 묵게 되었습니다. 직원분들은 친절 하셨지만 청결 상태는 그리 좋지 않았습니다. 체크인 후 들어간 화장실 세면대와 타일 바닥에서 머리카락이 발견되었고, 변기 끝부분에는 이물질이 묻어 있었고, 방의 카펫도 깨끗하진 않았습니다.

전체적으로 만족스러웠습니다. 도심지에서 접근성도 좋고. 다만 전기선을 연결하기 위한 코드를 찾는 데 시간이 걸렸습니다. 코드가 더 많았으면 좋겠고 더 잘 보이는 곳에 노출돼 있으면 좋겠습니다.

평점이 높지는 않아서 기대를 안 했는데 기대 이상으로 훌륭한 숙소였습니다. 인테리어나 카펫등등이 젊은 분들한테는 좀 올드해 보일 수도 있지만 저한테는 전에 가봤던 다른 고급호텔 같아서 좋았습니다. 침구류가 특히 좋았고 제가 갔을 때는 청결에 문제는 없었습니다. 다만 층간소음이 조금 있었던 거 같네요.

가족여행을 묵었는데 좋았어요. 침구도 깔끔하게 잘되어있고 직원도 친절하고 가성비 좋아요. 조식은 기대하면 실망이지만 조식까지 좋은걸 바라면 좀^^;;

화장실만 리모델링해서편안하고 내부는오래된카펫이 깔려있어먼도많고 환기도 잘안되는것같아 공기도답답했어요 아침조식도 너무성의가없고 부실해요

가성비 최고입니다. 다음에도 이용할게요.
