JB Design Hotel Haeundae

Place was nearby the beach, shopping and transit area. Staff was wonderful. Only thing was there was construction on my side of the room, which started really early in the mornings and could here it. Everything else was great!

Not sure if it was the best value for money for the area. The hotel room seemed to have an odd design and the attention to detail was a little lacking with some fixtures and fittings a bit worse for wear. The bed was comfortable though.

Very clean and very quiet

Amazing value. Very nice room. Close to Metro (2 blocks). Short walk to beach. The breakfast is an excellent deal.

For one night its good.

The property is very close to the metro station, which is convenient. The coffee machine in the lobby was much appreciated. The bed was comfortable. The laundry room was helpful, but a few lines of instruction in English would be good to have. However, the hotel is quite dated and super dark, the hallways are disconcerting in that sense, with dark green walls. My room was strange, with 3 separate cabins for bathtub, shower, and toilet, yet the sink was attached to the bed !!!? Not super clean either, maybe since everything is so old it could not be any better, but certainly that room saw better days.

Good place to stay when visiting Haeundae Beach. Very convenient and walkable.

Doesn't look anything like it does online. Couch was old and torn up, mirrors had handprints and marks all over them, dust everywhere, things falling apart being held together with tape, and ROACHES. Roaches would crawl out of the phone, the tissue box, etc. I saw them on the walls, in the corners, and even had one run across the bed as I was laying in it. The only thing this place has going for it is the location. Spend a bit more money for some actual cleanliness and comfort.

It was a little dusty in some spots and the light system was not working properly but they quickly fixed the issue and offered a new room.

One of the few hotels where the pictures match the room. The experience was everything I could have hoped for in a weekend getaway. Spacious rooms, comfortable bed and couch, and friendly staff. The beach is just a few blocks away too. What a trip!

I had an interesting time at this hotel. First the good: definitely very close to the beach 3/5 minutes walk. Right besides Haeundae food alley which is perfect, you can walk to everything. As described on their site close to the major attractions. Definitely take a walk around Dongbaek Island day and night you can see the Gwangan Bridge from a great view. The staff at the hotel were very friendly, there was a problem with my room and they did everything they could to make my stay better. Even switch my room until I was happy. The manager remembered me by name and check in on me throughout my stay. Plus they really do have a full laundry room service, 24 hrs and it’s free! The only thing I can say unpleasing was the smell a few times around the hotel on certain floors, housekeeping can do a more detail job of cleaning especially the bathrooms, and to make sure everything is working in a room before booking it out. Overall good stay and probably would stay again.

Good location, close to station And lots of buses, but the automatic air freshener in the room went off too much and was too strong smelling. Pillows were great.

The best was comfortable, the pillows were soft and fluffy and the water was hot. Also, the location is perfect.

For the price the room was perfect. Bed very comfortable, TV, computer, bath and separate shower. All toiletteries provided including slippers razor comb and even pyjas.... Super!

Overall it wasn't too bad. Only thing was that I had to go deep into the alley in order for me to go to hotel. Also, breakfast was 11,000 (KRW) which was very pricy compared to the quality and type of food that they had.

Very nice location next to heundae beach . Hotel needs better cleaning, breakfast is ok but always the same like most places in Korea . Room size is good . A bit above average hotel. Front desk was friendly and with few English manage to help us .
