Jeonju Wangyijimil Hanok Hotel

Visited with parents during Christmas break. An absolute gem — we loved every small detail in the rooms and play areas, since it was really well decorated with Korean traditional hints everywhere. Also loved the breakfast options they provided us, the food was so good!!! I really want to visit again. Thank you staff for providing such a welcoming experience.

처음 이 호텔을 지었을때 어떤 마음으로 지었는지 느껴질만큼 좋은 자재들로 지어진것 같았습니다 . 하지만 서비스가 좋지않고 직원 관리가 잘 안되는 느낌이었습니다 . 좋은 호텔인데 아쉬움이 많이 남았습니다 .

Overall, the hotel has a unique traditional floor plan, but it receives a poor grade for its lack of consideration for guests traveling from abroad. The parking area is far from the rooms and there are many obstacles when trying to carry luggage—steps with no ramp, for example. If you have heavy luggage, be prepared for some serious exercise to carry it to your room. The uneven tiles with grass growing between them make it extremely difficult to move luggage. The worst part is that the bathroom in our room had a strong smoking odor that triggered my allergic reaction whenever we used it for more than a few minutes (we're allergic to cigarette smoke). There was a clear no-smoking sign, but it smelled so strongly as if someone had been smoking near our room. It seemed like there was poor management in enforcing the no-smoking policy. If you're a non-smoker and don’t appreciate smoke odors in your room, stay away from this hotel, as there's a good chance you'll have a similar unpleasant experience.

Amazing. Unique Hanok Hotel. Better than any other Hanok stay in Korea, seoul. The Restaurant in the hotel provides tasty and healthy Korean food with reasonable price. for me, the quality is better than 5 star hotel in seoul.

It is clean and quite but it wasn’t easy to find the gate even with navigation.

If you want a quiet and serene place in Jeon-Ju, this is it. Easy parking, very quiet, and traditional buildings. We are satisfied and willing to come agajn.

조용한 호텔입니다. 전통 한옥과는 거가 있습니다. 방문시 호텔내에 모든 식당이 영업을 하지않고 조식만 단일 메뉴로 가능했습니다. 호텔 주위에 도보로 식사가 어렵습니다. 호텔 정문앞에 CU편의점과 중국집이 있습니다. 호텔 뒤편에 산책로가 있지만 호텔에서 운영하는건 아닌거 같습니다. 해가지면 산책도 어렵습니다. 호텔도 아니고 한옥 체험도 아니고 어중간 합니다. 정말 조용합니다. 조용히 쉬러 가신다면 추천합니다.

It was such beautiful building with lots of photo spots! Clean and big!!

Great location for exploring Jeonju. We had thought a restaurant was onsite but were disappointed to find out it was closed and there was nowhere close to get food. Rooms were great and we could walk into Jeonju along the river.

미국에서 태어나 처음으로 한국에 온 저희 아이들에게 너무 좋은 추억이었습니다. 왕의 이름을 딴 건물들도 독특했고, 뭣보다 정경이 너무 아름다웠어요! 호텔 뜰에서 밤에 애들하고 전통 게임들도 하고, 정말 멋진 경험이었어요!! 외국에서 오신분들께 특히 추천드려요!

Would stay again

For one night, my family of four stayed at the hotel. We opted for two rooms, each equipped with two twin beds. The room size was ideal, and the layout of the bathroom and washroom was well-designed for two people. Everything was impeccably clean and comfortable.

It is an authentic, charming hotel, but as such, lacks some of the luxuries and conveniences of more modern hotels. It’s a balance and really depends on what experience you are wanting (i.e. traditional or comfortable).

good experience to han-ok hotel! if you think about staying jeon-ju, i highly recommend this hotel. only one things that a little far from village.

Good location to enjoy the nature and interest architecture with a traditional Korean hanok look, but the room were like a mountain lodge feel. Too small for my taste. Check the room size before you book.

It was a traditional Hanoi with modern amenities. Very good breakfast and a very quiet area.

Cute, quiet property a little outside the downtown area. Rooms were smaller than expected.

I really liked the property from outside And the staff were nice, they alloeed us to check-in earlier. The room was nice and cozy too. However we were a little bit disappointed because there were a lot of mosquitos in the room but to be fare the provided spray to kill them. Also comapered to the price we paid there were only 4 small face towels but no shower towels and no toothbrushes. Another problem was in the shower room; the drain was blocked so the floor was flooded with water so we couldn't take a shower properly.
