Perfect location on the beach and 15mins in a taxi from both the rail station and bus station. Close to numerous cafes and restaurants. Not luxurious but well priced, clean and comfortable.

Pretty central location with the lake on one side and the beach on the other. Can walk to either side and explore. The hotel does have some wear & tear in the rooms but honestly, probably one of the better locations in Gangneung. The views from the top are amazing in the evening. You do need a car if you want to visit other spots like Cafe Alley (blocks with cafes across from the beach). Both the lakeside & the beachside have walking paths - highly recommend walking along the lake as well. Would stay there again if going back to Gangneung. Don’t forget your bathing suit - it is a bit pricey - but worth taking a dip at their infinity pool on the rooftop if on vacay and okay to splurge a bit on an “experience”.
