Vista Walkerhill Seoul

Our family always stayed at Vista every time we visit Korea for the past few years and enjoyed it very much. However, this time was slightly disappointing as they changed some things. They removed the check-in desk and turned the whole lobby area into a buffet restaurant. This was unpleasant as the check-in is now at Walkherhill, through some banquet rooms and small hallway. The buffet always had a lot of people lined up and congregating, and the people from banquet using were also very loud. Maybe it's because our visit this time was during December, close to Christmas-time, but still it was rather chaotic and not as quiet and orderly as before. The facilities also showed a lot more aging. Their room service menu also changed, and it seems (even for a 4-5 star hotel) almost laughable to pay 65000 won for a soy bean paste soup. We did order kimchi soup for 55000 won before, but small pizza and bowl of doenjang soup for over 60000 won seems odd. Still, it's a nice hotel with a reasonable price ($190-200 if you choose a room without view, with 2 double beds) with very friendly and professional staff. Oh, and the fitness center is great!

Amount charge to credit card in KRW and what is shown on the receipt on hotels.com differ and I have sent a message on hotels.com but no response was provided. Hotel temperature is not allowed to be changed and as a result I am sweating in the room, was given a reason of centralised air-conditioning. I was provided with a fan at the end of the day.

The suites are amazing

Nice Hotel but very isolated from restaurants outside of the complex. Unfortunately the Hotels many restaurants were completely booked and our option was room service.

Beautiful and modern. Maybe too modernized for the lightnings that I had a hard time to find switches. Lol

Beautiful views, polite staff, restaurant prices quite high but you're at a five star hotel. Place hard to get to if you don't have a car.

The hotel itself is amazing. Make reservations at the restaurants. Visit the sky garden, it's quite beautiful. Try to see the view before sunset, gets a bit dark and you can't enjoy the river as much.

The room was excellent and food was great But expensive !!! I hope next time I would stay junior Conner suit again!

Must go for river view as they have a lovely river view.. Try to visit during the weekdays as there are long lineups for 4th floor foot bath as well as other facilities. Overall, had a lovely night and will visit again soon :)!

It was a wonderful and clean hotel. State of the art features and excellent service. Will come again.

Great view from the room. All of the requests made were dealt with very promptly. Business centre is convenient to use with two meeting rooms.

Their service was not only super prompt, but accurate. I often have to call housekeeping twice to get the things I need. This place is worth it all!

This hotel has seen better days. Rooms have not been updated. Also, we bought a package with casino credits. However it turns out we still needed to pay the same amount that we got in casino credits, so this was completely useless. The location is also very far away from everything. We did enjoy the view and the beds were very comfortable.

Riverside view is one of a kind!! Fantastic!! It costs $40 more but worth more than that!

Fantastic Hotel, Fantastic staff at EVERY level. Excellent location with understated class and elegance. From the hotel shuttle which runs from 6 AM to 11 :20 PM to and from the Line 2 and Line 5 Metro stations. From the KAL airport limousine with multiple departure times per hour. The directions to and from Incheon Airport were extremely clear, accurate and precise. From the concierge to the reception staff working on ALL shifts, this hotel is a quiet respite from the hustle and bustle of Seoul. Kim Hyuk, J-Kim, Gabby, Concierge gentleman ( the one who helped with all m luggage:) From the amazing breakfast buffet, the lightning fast free WiFi, the panoramic vistas, the electronic room service menu. The Vista Walkerhill encapsulates the serene nature of South Korea. Highly recommended and would stay again.
