Aparthotel Bahía

Simply lovely staff Where do I begin? We stayed in the Bahia and had stayed there and the Triana hotel over 10 years ago. Yet the welcome was lovely and they kindly gave us a free upgrade to a balcony room. Turned out the next day the whole place was full with multiple SEN sports groups, yet it was lovely and quiet. They were a lovely bunch - including their teachers. The apartment consisted of a bedroom, bathroom and a living/dining/kitchen and of course the balcony which overlooked houses and the sea in one direction and the street in the other. The apartments are the sister building to the hotel, so the facilities are shared. Opposite is a 'Chinese Bizarre' and you are a 5 minute walk from Maxi Dia supermarket. Although you are self catering do give the hotel restaurant a go. E15 buffet for lunch or dinner and E8 for breakfast. We had dinner twice and they brought out crusty fresh gluten free bread for me. There is grill station for fish and chicken. A massive salad choice, lots of different traditional Spanish dishes along with pizza and pasta. Plenty of fruit, desserts & ice cream. Wine and soft drinks are reasonably priced too. Prices in Spain have increased but the Lo Pagan restaurants and bars are reasonable. The hotel bar is frequented by locals and they sell pizzas and sandwiches, show football games and large spirits with mixers at E5.50 We went end of May and the pool bar wasn't open, but the unheated pool was. It was cool but not cold and very refreshing! You can hire towels at E10 refundable deposit which they refresh at no extra cost. I left my glasses at the local spa and the staff kindly contacted them and organized a taxi to go and get them. All 3 receptionists were BRILLIANT. Really chatty. The older lady spoke perfect English, the two younger ones were not quite as fluent so I got to practice some Spanish with them. Everyone is treated as special which makes this place one I thoroughly recommend. I will be back as soon as I can afford it

My 4th time staying at these apartments in last 12 months. They cannot be faulted. Clean, comfortable one bedroom apartment, living room come kitchen. Good size living area and kitchen area. Lovely large balcony. Daily cleaning. Facilities of Hotel Triona available next door. One of it's biggest assets is the friendly, welcoming, obliging and courteous staff, they enhance the atmosphere. They have very good English which I am grateful for as my Spanish is severely lacking. Very central, near beach. Beach approximately 10 minutes walk. Ample shops locally. Bus stop across the road, for checking out towns nearby. Anna from Ireland

Large apartment and good facilities at the Hotel next door

I just see the buffet was €6 so why was we charged €74 for 4 ppl staff were nice and very helpful but food in the buffet was very poor sorry I don't rate it and nothing was open except the pool not much to do unless you walk a mile and half the best experience I had was the 2 Indian restaurant's food it was that poor we checked out 4 days early and went to la florida and had a much better time and took a hit in the pocket anyone who rates the hotel 5 must have been in a different place than me
