Hotel Mercader

If there’s 0 I will give it!!! I stayed for 3 nights in this hotel and it was my first time in Madrid, everything was going good until I was packing my things in my last night and I was really surprised that someone stole my private things (a bracelet and a chain in gold) I go to the reception and they told me that they couldn’t do anything for me and I should go to the police station. I told them that there’s cameras and they can check but no one helped me and they keep saying no one will stole your things from the room (I was lonely and I didn’t bring anyone with me during my stay), I had a flight in the same day so I did nothing but I will write a comment to say please don’t go to this hotel is a waste of money. So far from the city center, the same poor breakfast everyday, the only thing good in this hotel is cleanliness. Run and don’t stay in this hotel.

Quiet hotel, very clean and respectful staff, but its distance from the city center is tiring. “To be honest, public transportation is available” close to the hotel to anywhere in Madrid, but public transportation takes up to an hour but I recommend it for the price

Our room was clean and the people who are working at the hotel are very helpful especially receptionists are amazing. Housekeeping and the restaurant employees were also very helpful and kind. Only thing should be improved is breakfast. There are really very few options in breakfast. Also, if you are planning to visit the city center all the time, and coming with a car, please note that all entries subject to 2.45 euros. It is a little bit far away from the city center, but driving by 15 mins will be sufficient to arrive to the crowded places. Staying here would assist you not to pay much like in the city center.

Comfortable bed, clean and modern rooms. Toiletries and other amenities plus the whole feeling of the place did not really correspond with it being a 4 star hotel, I would rather rate is as 3 stars. Also the breakfast was rather boring. The hotel is located in an induatrial zone far from the city centre, so it is more suitable for business than leisure. Especially for those going to do business in Mercamadrid or surroundings and staying just for one or two nights...

Very nice hotel with spacious rooms. Helpful staff. Clean and well maintained rooms. The view from the room is nice, especially at night with the sunset and the city lights. You can get a quick breakfast buffet for 7 Euros. The only con is that the hotel is located a little far from the city, and there are no direct public transportation services. But overall, it's a very nice hotel. We would come back here the next time we're in Madrid.
