Hotel Rural Los Anades

Good experience. The best: - spa circuit for you, 1h, including sauna and jacuzzi amongst others - the games room: you can play pool or darts for free and order your drinks - beds: we had a superb 💤😴 Things to improve: - slightly overpriced - menus in the restaurant could be better adjusted regarding quality and amount (sometimes, less is better) Overall: I reccomend the place if you look for a couple retreat or just relax during a weekend, it's just 1.30h from Madrid

Excellent hotel for a relaxing weekend. Beautiful bedrooms with attention to details. Lovely surroundings and the staff is helpful and warm. Not to be missed the restaurant, excellent roasted meat. The hotel is very well kept and decorated as well as the private spa. Our weekend has been perfect.

Peaceful weekend An easy drive from Madrid, Los Ánades is a pretty hotel surrounded by nature. We stayed in one of the lofts so that we could bring our dog. The kitchenette had everything we needed and the bed was extremely comfortable. We really enjoyed sitting on our front porch listening to the birds. Meals in the hotel restaurant were delicious, but the highlight was the spa – one of the nicest we’ve been to due to its privacy, cleanliness, and design. The hotel has taken every precaution against COVID and Maite was very helpful with anything we needed. The town itself is good for a stroll or a country walk along the fields. For more action, Sigüenza is close by. Highly recommend Los Ánades for a weekend of disconnection!

Let me summarize my experience before getting into details: We had a horrible experience at Los Anades, despite the fact that the place is nice and cozy, and facilities are top-notch. I and my extended family wanted to spend a couple of days in Spain, in a rural space. Our group is 5 adults and 2 children. When I made the booking I asked the manager Mr. Jose María if we can have 1 loft (for 4 people) and room (for 2 people). He said if we feel comfortable sleeping he is fine without having to charge more. The 2-night package includes breakfast for each day, one other meal, and Spa. We were 7 and I gladly paid for the 7th person for breakfast despite the fact that they didn't mention that the additional child has to pay extra for included meals. The surprise was that when we were having dinner, the waitress Rossie (not sure of spelling) who also had many other roles in the hotel started discussing additional sleeping charges for the additional kid, insisting loudly in front of their customers holding our dinner till it's resolved, and I had to talk to the manager to remind him of what he said at the time of the reservation, he remembered and told them that we have pre-agreed not to pay and it's ok to start serving us dinner. We also went to Spa the 7 of us, they stopped us at the door saying the additional person has to pay, despite the fact that my elderly parents just sat in the entrance watching the kids in Jacuzzi and had no plan to use anything. Both Rossie and Conchi (receptionist) did that. I said ok my parents will leave, she said quick! I am controlling from here, a very cheap attitude. We brought this to the attention of the manager Jose María who was nice and apologized for this behaviour. He also offered us late check out. Other issues bad wifi signal, cold Jacuzzi, and other minor things. They (ROSSIE AND CONCHI) ruined our vacation. It's not a cheap place so I certainly recommend you spending your money elsewhere, e.g.Paradores chain of rural hotels which has a similar style.
