Despite been a bit dated and in need of refurbishment (the passage, the carpets and the rooms etc), I can forgive all that and justify the high cost thanks to the AMAZING staff and the rooftop swimming pool. The location is not great unless like me you came for business, in which case banks (ATMs), taxis and nice restaurants are plentiful. Special thanks to Lilian for a smooth transition from NH Eurobuilding to NH Colon and great conversation, Yolanda for fixing my suit jacket (which she did not have to do, they don’t offer that service), Alejandro the life guard for his professionalism and diligent service and all the staff in general for their great care of me (management should be very proud of them).

Service was exceptional, truly! My expectations were vastly exceeded by literally every member of this NH Hotel’s staff I interacted with. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable, if otherwise unremarkable. But, the location is great and the staff were on another level (honestly among the best I’ve encountered). Shout out to Lilian Ferrer, thank you!!

Really a nice place close to the beginning of the Gran Via and the city center.
Good bar with a great choice of drinks.
I really appreciated the breakfast also, thanks to its wide choice of sweet, salty and vegetarian food.

the TGTG breakfast was tasty. still I'm not sure if it has an actual value of 12€. most of the products are not prepared and can be gotten from a supermarket for less than 12€ altogether. the breakfasts of other hotels on TGTG provide scrambled eggs, sausages, soft cheese, bacon, multigrain/wholemeal rolls.
the pickup of the bag took 15min. in other hotels it only takes seconds.

Very simple rooms, making you feel as staying in some cheap place. The reception area is much nicer than when you're getting to your floor. Small double beds. Blanket done in a way to get it out you need to unmake the whole bed. Breakfast is fine by the way. Staff is nice.
