I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in September after a Mediterranean cruise. The hotel staff was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We arrived very early as we'd just gotten off our cruise ship, and the frond desk agent did everything he could to get us a room as soon as possible.
The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance to many fabulous restaurants, coffee shops, tapas bars, and shopping.
Our room was very spacious, as was the bathroom. My only complaint is that the bathroom didn't have a lot of counter space. There was a cool little window sitting room that looked out over the street.

Great Stay for a Great City...
From the moment we checked in, we knew everything was going to be perfect. I believe her name was Maria—she made us feel incredibly comfortable and accommodated us in every way. The kids immediately jumped on the computers in the lobby while we checked in, which was very convenient.
The rooms were immaculate and each came with a laptop, which added a nice modern touch to the hotel. The breakfast they served was excellent, offering a great start to our days.
The location is superb—just step out the front door and you’re ready to explore the beauty of Barcelona.
I've stayed here three times and can't wait to go back.

Location is great (plenty of restaurants, bars, supermarkets) and safe area.
Rooms are spacious.
Cleaning of rooms is almost non existent, despite asking. It is only limited to bed making and towel changes. Very superficial vacuum cleaning and the dust is still there on TV, desk and lamps..disappointing.

I do not recommend this hotel. It claims to be a four-star establishment but feels more like a three-star. The photos on Google and Booking are misleading. The staff struggles to communicate in English, and despite sending several messages, I either received incoherent responses or no reply at all. Moreover, several details on Booking were inaccurate, such as the promise of free airport transfer, which was nonexistent.
Room cleanliness was poor: a towel with bloodstains was left in the room, trash was not removed, and a dirty cleaning cloth was left behind. The breakfast was disappointing, and I even suffered food poisoning after eating it.
To make matters worse, we requested a late check-out, and while one staff member initially confirmed it, the following day we were told it wasn’t possible, with no alternatives offered other than storing our luggage – the bare minimum service.
The only acceptable aspect was the bed, which was comfortable. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

While the hotel's location is excellent, I would not recommend staying here due to several issues:
Room Condition: The hotel isn’t old, but rooms feel worn and slightly grimy. The makeup mirror was barely hanging by a screw.
Bathroom Problems:
Toilet tank malfunctioned, requiring manual fixes.
Shower lacked water pressure, had no door, and caused flooding.
Amenities & Service:
Insufficient supplies for three guests (e.g., no slippers, only two complimentary water bottles even after we asked for a third given the number of guests).
Housekeeping disturbances occurred twice.
Unresponsive thermostat left the room stuffy. Third night no one could sleep because of how hot it was. We could not open the window either.
WiFi: Extremely unreliable, unsuitable even for basic tasks like photo uploads.
Key Cards: One of the three cards repeatedly malfunctioned.
Positive Notes: The fruit water in the lobby was nice.
Conclusion: This hotel is not up to 4-star standards. If you need only a place to sleep and don’t mind the issues, the location might make it worthwhile. Otherwise, I wouldn’t book again.
EDIT: Just seeing their reply below now....not sure why it's in Chinese? Mildly racist, no? We are not room 216. We were room 417.
