One normally gets what they pay for.....I got far more that what I paid for. Clean, comfortable bed, polite staff, incredible breakfast, low cost ....how do you beat that?

The room was bigger than I expected, especially for being in the older section of the hotel. Breakfast in the morning had plenty of options. Hotel was also in a great location relative to the sights and public transit.

Poor housekeeping (bin not emptied from previous occupant, tea/coffee not replenished, lack of toilet paper, no working safe) were reported to reception, a guy who considered it was all my problem not his, repeatedly making reference to the price I had paid for the room as if it was in any way relevant.
None of the issues were resolved in spite of being shown photographs and I left the reception after he had twice used the F*** word to my face. Disgusting behaviour.
More serious was the dangerous electrical issue in the room, where the obviously-damaged bed light had been "repaired" with plastic tape, leaving bare wires. This has been reported as an official complaint.

The staff are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The hotel needs refurbishment. The breakfast was very good in terms of variety and volume. It's a three star hotel close to the station. Small and rather tatty, but lovely staff. Clean and comfortable. Most tourist sites are within comfortable walking distance. A good spot if you travel by train.

Not enough space in the dining area for breakfast.
Although there was a safe in the room it did not work and we reported this to reception and we were told they would look into this and to send someone the next day to fix it.
As nothing happened we had to use the hotel safe at reception.
