On arrival the room hadn't be heated. Only Swedish stations on TV. Very small bathroom. The room was small in general. No smoking allowed on outside terrasse - ridicules! Extremely poor breakfast. Omelette was absurde. Bacon as well. No fresh brewed coffee. A very friendly and helpful staff (Philip & Walter) doesn't make a 4 star hotel. The lady-owner of the hotel seems to be an unexperienced idiot who never frequented other hotels that are known as "best hotel in town".

Ett väldigt trevligt hotell. En fin miljö och en smakfull skön känsla över platsen. En väldigt fin frukostmatsal där jag fick göra min egen apelsinjuice. En väldigt trevlig frukost men när vi kommer till eggröran så var den långt ifrån vad jag önskar av en sådan lätt rätt och får betyget 1/10.

Rummet var ordinärt, inte den standard som förväntas för 2600:-/natt. Tråkigt inrett rum, inte samma stil som övriga miljön på hotellet.
Vid dusch rann vattnet ut över golvet i hela badrummet. Ingen frågade när vi checkade ut hur vår vistelse hade varit, inget engagemang hos personalen.

Lovely hotel but standard rooms rather small. We had to move rooms as there was no walk-in shower (as described on the website) and despite having booked a superior room, we were given a standard room and no refund or acknowledgment of the £100 price difference…
On the plus side, Uppsala is absolutely lovely! Some staff were absolutely wonderful, others quite ignorant and unwilling to help, for example trying to get vegan butter/margarine for breakfast was straightforward on some days, on others impossible.

Plus: had a single room, it was beautiful (not boring square), comfortable bed, nice shower. Loved the breakfast! They even had decaf coffee.
Minus: no decaf tea in the room to drink at night, only black and green tea. I probable could have asked for it, though, very professional staff.

Supertrevlig kille i receptionen, underbart rum med stort rymligt vardagsrum, sovrum med vacker utsikt och ljusinsläpp och badrum med badkar. Spontan par vistelse som blev otroligt lyckad!
Anmärkningar: vi båda upplevde att sängens fjädring kändes i hela kroppen när vi vände på oss/ rörde på oss under natten, ganska oskönt.
Vanity kitet i badrummet var öppnat och halvt använt vilken kändes lite konstigt. Duschväggen är väldigt kort så hela badrummet blev blött när vi duschade, kanske i alla fall sätt in en skrapa?
Av någon anledning hade tv:n slagits på när vi var ute på middag vilket kändes lite märkligt.
