big beautiful room, great breakfast

This hotel has a beautiful view from the upper floors, so beautiful you might want to lie in bed and just watch the clouds and trees (we spent time doing just that!). The Murphy bunks are a great idea, and more hotels should jump on that idea. We missed having an electric kettle/coffee maker in the room, but we can see space is limited. Our stay would be a full 5 stars, but they were housing participants in a middle school football / soccer tournament being held around Falun. It seemed no adults were helping the kids know about appropriate behavior when staying in a hotel. Really, this isn’t the fault of the hotel, so I should award them 5 stars simply for being so professional with these barely supervised young people. Excellent, superb breakfast. Many many stars for that. The staff were also superb.

A Ok hotel for 1-2 nights The carpet give dust and no comfort at the sleep time

Simple, clean and well worth the money. 20 min easy walk to downtown Falun.

Good hotel with a good location but definitely doesn’t worth the double price you pay for it compare with other hotels. Too large breakfast table - in reality nobody need to eat so much.

Stated one night during a road trip. Nice room. Hotel felt 15-20 years old but was clean and in good repair. Staff was friendly and a very nice breakfast buffet was included.

classic Scandic, everything in good but not great order. Only real disappointment was that the pool was too small for swimming. But positive that the free wifi worked also in rooms

Nice hotel outside Falun

Great location, easy access from highway. Nice walk to downtown. Staff nice and helpful. Breakfast excellent with lots of variety. Rooms clean and comfortable. Nice view of ski jump.

Very straight forward hotel on the edge of Falun. Only a 20 minute walk into the centre of town on a dedicated walking path. Hotel breakfast was generous and flavourful. Staff were gracious and efficient. Beautiful area of Sweden.

Room was small and tight but adequate. Had a great view. Easy access off highway and to downtown. Had a queer step up to bathroom, but otherwise bath was nice and clean. Had a murphy bed in room for an additional guest or child. Nice!!

Fint och nyrenoverat. Enda problemet var att vårt familjerum var ett handikapprum vilket innebar, förutom stora fina ytor och justerbara sängar, att dörren öppnades med en knapp på väggen och sen var öppen 30sek. Detta är inte helt kompatibelt med busiga barn... Om man kunde ta bort den funktionen hade det varit ett toppenbra rum. Gymet är liten men superfräscht, poolen likaså. Saknar möjligheten till att kunna ta upp ett glas vin eller riktigt kaffe till rummet men det är ju inget som är livsnödvändigt. Stort plus för pingisrummet precis i anslutning till restaurangen dit barnen kunde gå när de tröttnat på att sitta still.

Trevligt hotell men några små missar ; fick ingen info om ex kaffe och te ingick Inga makeup pads eller tops i badrummet Alldeles för stark hand tvål ( parfym ) Men mycket bra personal och fina rum

Stort nyrenoverat rum, något lyhört med tanke på att en stor väg passerar utanför.

This is the kind of hotel where i’m willing to drive an extra 75 km in order to come back. Especially because of the personal at the reception. The hotel was under construction but that does not mean anything if you are welcomed with a genuine smile and so much friendly faces. Employee offered me a cup of coffee during check in, showed interest in the guests and showed maximum flexibility. 10-10. With every future visit to the Dala region I’m coming back here. Please share my complements with the front office staff, they are gold for your hotel.
