I forgot to write my review earlier when I stayed there in May 2024. It’s a beautiful location, I stayed in a cabin with an uninterrupted view of the sea. I walked everyday into Visby along the footpath on the coast, it was gorgeous. The room was clean and staff super friendly and professional. 10/10 would highly recommend to anyone, as the rooms are clean, great staff, and great rates.

We really enjoyed our stay. Staff was very nice and food was excellent. Breakfast was superb.
Staff was also pro active with some extremely noisy guests, making sure they would quiet down by 10pm. That was very much appreciated since we had to leave the window open due to hot weather.

Gustavsvik was a pretty nice place to stay. The apartment was comfortable for three or four people with a nice kitchenet and living space, but remember to bring your own sheets and towels - not an uncommon thing in Sweden. It was a little further out of town than I would have liked, but renting bicycles more or less solved that problem. I would say this place was good, but not great. A fair value for the money at the post-tourist time of year.

Something that Hotels.com need to inform customers is that this place do not offer towels, bedding and room cleaning. You can get this at an additional cost (don’t know the price) and for 1200kr they can clean after your visit else you have to clean the area yourself. Please check the website of this place before booking.

New rooms, well equipped and clean.
Our only problem was the heat in the cabin, at 25-27 degrees outside it was unbearably warm inside and very difficult to sleep well at night unless we left our door open all night. The window only opened 10cm.
That was the only issue

It does not include bed linen, towels, toiletries or any cleaning of the apartment, which must be provided by guests including upon departure.

Fantastisk frukost, dålig ytterbelysning med många svarta lampor, lite krokat i rummet, toalettstol rinner och uppmaning på etikett om att pilla upp knapp istället för att laga knapp. i övrigt trevlig personal och miljö.

Gustavsvik erbjuder Gotlands absolut bästa boende. Lungt, trevligt och allt inom promenadavstånd.
Otroligt vackra solnedgångar!
På den negativa sidan är ett väldigt undermåligt utrustat kök med tanke på att lägenheten erbjuder 6 sängplatser. Små grytor, formar och bunkar gör det till en utmaning att laga mat till fler än 2-3 personer. Ont om bestick finns inte en gaffel över till gurkburken när alla äter.
Under veckan saknar jag visp, elvisp, brödrost, en större gratängform, stavmixer, en större pastagryta, en mandolin, potatisstöt eller press, vassa knivar, skalkiv, uppläggningsfat och skålar, riktiga djuptallrikar i stället för småskålar, flera glas, bestick och tallrikar.

Väldigt bra ställe lägesmässigt precis vid havet. En lång bra brygga att bada ifrån. Fin cykel/gångväg in till Visby. Stora härliga ytor att röra sig på. Vi har två år i rad avslutat vår Gotlandsvistelse där, så skönt att ha nära till båten och bara lämna ett hotellrum. Städningen invändigt var bra, men utemöblerna var inte avtorkade och stolarna trasiga, men de byttes ut så fort vi påtalat det. Underbart att köpa mat från Gotlands matmarknad och sitta ute vid borden och se på solnedgången.
