Our stay at the property was very disappointing and definitely not worth the exorbitant price being charged.
A week before our stay, the hotel informed us that several pools, restaurants and facilities would no longer be available as they had a hotel wide event the day before and would be packing up. In addition, when we arrived to check in after 3pm, we were told our room was unavailable as they were still cleaning up post the event. The check in staff were dismissive of our concerns and quite rude.
Whilst the spa and the location of the hotel is amazing, at over $2,500 per night, the service was poor and the amount of guests meant that there was always a long wait for breakfast, drinks or any assistance from staff. It did not feel exclusive or worth the price tag, and we have had significantly better experiences for far less money.
