The hotel was good. There's a lot of construction at the moment across the street (where our window opened out to) and so that is quite loud. They couldn't give us two room keys at check in because they had no extra keys and that made our first day very difficult (one must have a key to turn on lights in the room but my companion wanted to go out in the evening and with only one key, I was left in the dark). We managed to get another room key the next day when they replenished their key cards.

This was a good hotel in a convenient location. The staff were quite friendly and helpful. For areas of improvement, the parking situation could be improved to reduce stress at check-in, being that the hotel requires you to make a separate request to get parking, even though the description says that parking is available (but it is not actually available unless you know that you have to make the separate request in advance because otherwise it is “full”). Luckily there was parking available in a separate parking structure just a short walk around the corner. Secondly, all of the pillows were miserably flat and uncomfortable in our room and also in our friends’ rooms.

Als ich im Hotel ankam, stellte ich fest, dass die Buchung von Ebookers um einen Tag verschoben wurde, anstatt vom 20. April auf den 21. April 2024. Danach kontaktierte ich Ebookers telefonisch, sie versuchten das Datum zu stornieren und das Hotel akzeptierte es nicht usw...
Ich bin sehr wütend auf Hotel Admiral sowie auf Euch Ebookers weil Sie meine Daten verschoben haben.
Es ist nicht das erste Mal, dass jemand einen Fehler gemacht hat, aber es gab immer die Möglichkeit, die Buchung zu stornieren und das gewünschte Datum zu verschieben.
Ich habe immer mit Boocking com gebucht und nie ein Problem gehabt, für mich war das eine sehr schlechte Erfahrung die ich nie wieder machen werde.
In Zukunft werde ich nie wieder solche Fehler machen, dass ich mit mein Geld mich ärgere niemals.
Grosse Schande für euch.............

Overall a fairly decent hotel in Paradiso which is about a 20 minute walk away from central Lugano.
We were staying for 4 nights and didn't have food here so our review is predominantly focussed on the room and staff.
The room was large which was nice but we had a glass headboard which was very strange and was quite worrying sometimes.
Coffee machine provided in the room is a great touch but to only provide 2 (TWO) capsules per day is very limited. Give them credit, when I asked for more I received them but c'mon people, this is a coffee loving country, guests will want a coffee in the morning, then when they return later in the afternoon as a pick-me-up, minimum 4 per day please?
