Hotel City Locarno

A great base for exploring Locarno, Tenero, Ascona and the surrounding area. Comfortable, super friendly team and a great breakfast. Recommended! Grazie mille.

Really nice, clean, tidy hotel in heart of Locarno. Spacious rooms, clean bathrooms, good WiFi, a lot of TV channels and tastey breakfast. They were even good enough to give me a free early check-in. Great location too 5 mins walk from lakeside and train station. I think all rooms have a small balcony too for enjoying morning coffee Recommended!

We came earlier and the Room was already prepared . After 3 hours ride this was a pleasant surprise 🥰. We Booked two rooms, the second was for our friends which were also very satisfied. Rooms are very clean, bed is comfortable and every room has a terrace 💪. Breakfast was ok, stard as in many hotels and we noticed the restaurant which was very occupied.

Central location, clean comfortable hotel. Own underground parking. Friendly and professional staff. Good breakfast. They do not have their own restaurant, but give 10% discount in the Italian restaurant on the ground floor at the same building - very good solution. Recommended!

The hotel room was clean and large. Unfortunately, from the street you can hear every car driving through. In Covid-19 situation towels were changed daily, even though the hotel follows environmental protection concept. In Covid-19 situation, the hotel provides dinner to own guests and other people may get pizza as take-away. Staff at reception, restaurant and breakfast very friendly and helpful. Restaurant offers very good food, not only pizza. Was very tasty. Always happy to come back.
