this hotel is very good clean and staff are very freindly and helpfull you also get a pass for bus train and cable cars

This hotel was fabulous! I chose it because of its proximity to the train station, but was pleasantly surprised how nice the property was. The restaurant was excellent! The staff were very helpful and friendly.

This is an okay hotel. The staff were the biggest disappointment. We arrived to check in and the reception staff were standing in the back but we were clearly in view as having just arrived (transported by the hotel driver from the train station). We were completely ignored for at least 5 minutes until we said “excuse me” and one of the staff came out and checked us in in a very rude and rushed way. We had a similar experience with the breakfast staff. There was no one to seat us on entry so we assumed we could sit anywhere without a reserved sign. We sat at a window table without a reserved sign. The waiter then scolded us very loudly and rudely and said we were not able to sit there, saying it was “not possible.” We said okay and asked why as we got up to move. He ignored us. He then came back about 10 minutes later with a reserved sign saying it was reserved for another family all day. We advised him that that was all he needed to say and didn’t need to say it in such a rude and embarrassing way. Our final run in with staff was on our day of checkout. We were finalising packing in our room. We heard a knock on the door. No sooner could we get to the door to see who it was, the cleaning staff was opening the door and letting themselves in with their key. This is a very serious invasion of privacy. The staff member should have waited and called out housekeeping before entering the room within 10 seconds of knocking. The hotel room was nice. Good bathroom.

Perfect location if you wish to be close to the train station. Very friendly and helful staff. Great breakfast with a fabulous view over the lake from the dining room. Rooms are compact and no air conditioing, these were the only negatives.

The housekeeping staff walked into our room 3 times at 8am, 9am and 10am while we were getting ready in the morning before the 11am checkout - no knocking, just swiped her card and opened the door! We did not have the “clean room” card on the door. I also had medication on the bed when we went to breakfast, which was missing when we came back to the room. I approached the desk and they were uninterested. I didn’t want to accuse anyone of anything but we dumped all luggage and checked room several times - all in all, their staff should not be walking into the rooms without knocking as we could be getting dressed, huge invasion of privacy for a room I am paying for and check out time was hours away. Odd it was 3 different times as well. The male servers and evening check in staff were amazing and we enjoyed the food. The morning front desk, housekeeping and breakfast staff were not friendly. All in all I would not recommend for these reasons. Of course I use the safe for valuables, but didn’t think about medication as we went to breakfast, and not having it will be a huge burden to obtain out of the country.

Everyone from reception to restaurant and housekeeping was exceptionally professional, kind and helpful. I have stayed in a few other hotels in town and was extremely happy with my stay here.

Rita the receptionist was wonderful and our waiter from Italy (can’t remember his name) was so nice!! Amazing views and close to train station!

The view from this property is among the best I have ever experienced. Very wonderful people who work there; you make an instabt connection with them. Food is excellent and delicious, but not cheap, superior service at restaurant. Try the bouillabaisse - it is outstanding. Do stay here!

Excellent hotel. Warm welcome and great view from the room. Really good breakfast too overlooking the lake. We would definitely return.

Everything was very nice, but the check in clerk was extremely rude. We had one guest that was allergic to down and they gave her a table cloth to sleep with. When the youngest of our group went to the front desk she was very combative with her. Other than the one lady everyone else was very kind. The hotel had a beautiful view, excellent food, and a nice little spa area.
