The perfect location for those who love nature and the outdoors. We had a car so it was really easy to drive to hiking spots but they provide bus passes for those who need it for the duration of your stay! The ladies at the front desk were so incredibly nice and accommodating. Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to go back.

I chose this hostel for a lake view but the property was too basic. Shared bathroom wasn’t a problem but I wouldn’t be going there again. It’s better to stay in Interlaken and visit Iseltwald on the bus for lake view.

The location was excellent. We were looking forward to stay (3 days 2 nights) and enjoy the lake view and the surrounding. Unfortunately, on the first night of our stay, my family members and myself were bitten by bed bugs in our bunk beds. our arms and legs were swollen so we have to leave immediate.

The property is a hostel so my rating is based on them clearly communicating that. The location is beautiful and almost right on the lake. The staff was extremely helpful and we rented eBikes and rode right from the property. It is a little distance from Interlaken train stations, but the stay included bas passes within Interlaken. The Property Manager did an excellent job for us on both breakfast and during our stay. The property could use some upgrades, but again the fact that it is a hostel was well communicated.

Very picturesque and quaint. Reception isn't tended until checkin (16:00) but the place was wide open so we placed our bags in the dining room and hung out accross the street enjoying the oew and a nap. No ventilation at all in the rooms. We opened the windows to get air, but guests next door were loud, and smoking. In additon, no screens on the windows which allowed in some mosquitos. Mattress was very firm. Bathrooms and showers were clean and open. Staff was friendly.

The hotel is in a nice walkable area. The view from the room is beautiful. Overall it is clean. But the floor and wall don’t have good noise isolation so it is quite noisy when people walking on the upper floor.
