We like this hotel a lot. It’s in the charming old city and the design is to our liking. We also like their common work/meeting spaces and make good use of them.
Our “nit” this time is that upon arrival they checked us in to an inferior room (small, dark, broken shower, no robes). And while they switched us the next day, it was a hassle and they did not offer compensation for that first night (out of 4). This was disappointing especially as we’ve been repeat guests for many years.
All in all, we still like this hotel a lot and would go back.

They were very professional in the services plus giving me information in city's attractions. Very convenient to the central train station.

Had a wonderful stay, the receptionists were all very friendly and able to advise about many things that I was interested in doing.

The rooms were tiny and mine had no view as it backed on to a wall. All windows were just a facade The lighting was terrible in the rooms but the room was clean and the bed was comfy. The pillows were excellent and it was lovely and warm. No coffee makers in room but free tea and coffee in reception all day and there’s a lovely little restaurant downstairs. The staff were friendly and helpful. The property is historic and located perfectly to explore old town Zürich, great shopping and walks along the river. I would not stay there again but for a short stint if you wanted to be very local for walking through beautiful old town you’ll be fine.

Staffs are great and professional. Tons of shops around the area and very convenient to tram and trains. You can take day hiking trip to Uetliberg and another day to Rhinefall. Sheets are clean and beds are comfy. A bit pricy though but it is Switzerland.

We always stay here when in Zurich. We were a little disappointed that the gym we had access to in the past was no longer in the same location. There are two options which are approx 12-15 min walk away. Not fun in miserable weather. Also a bit weird we had a separate closet for the toilet without sink and had to go into the shower room to wash our hands. Just inconvenient. Overall still a great stay.

Excellent location, convenient for major sightseeing, shopping and transportation. Staff were very warm and helpful. Coop grocery right around the corner. Train station is walking distance, but difficult if carrying luggage. Suggest using the free hotel shuttle.
