Both rooms we booked were spacious, bright and clean. Hot spring water bath with a big bath tub were available in our rooms. There were also a separated tea room/ resting area in our rooms, compliment with snacks and soda in additional to tea and coffee. Staff were super friendly and helpful, and free parking is available.

Room was clean and spacious. The best for us was the hot spring bath in our own room. Breakfast buffet had a lot of choices. Staffs were professional and courteous. We will definitely stay with hotel in our future trip.

We had a lovely 2 night stay. The public hot spring and in-room spring water bath were highlights. Well maintained property with many comforts including free minibar snacks. Staff always lovely and greet you as you pass by. Some English speakers (not many). Only constructive feedback (from a Westerner): - The “happy hour” at the pool should be full bar service and discounted alcoholic drinks (that’s actually what happy hour means in the western tradition). Perhaps it would be better serviced in the restaurant? - As a westerner, I love the good manners and rules that are part of the culture here. But after a few weeks they become very annoying. I shouldn’t need to be forced to wear a swimming cap in the swimming pool when I do my daily laps (that’s just silly). Thankfully the staff allowed me to borrow one.

We stayed here for two nights. For a four star hotel with a unique in-room hot spring offering, I was surprised at how dowdy and ugly the lobby and common areas of the hotel were. I felt like I was going to a corporate building for some conference. The room itself was decent, the bathroom with an in-built hot spring was of course the star. My partner absolutely loved this part. There was a small window with a view to the mountains. For folks with accessibility or mobility concerns, please note that there were two different steps in my room that I kept stumbling over. The way the layout of the room was, when you lie in bed there is almost no sight of the window or much natural light. The one thing I absolutely disliked about the hotel was that there was no laundry service *and* room service. I find it really ridiculous that the hotel is sold to you as an escape and its solitude, but you are forced to go eat in the restaurant with noisy families, or go off the mountain into town for food or laundry. Keep in mind also that this is one of those places with a checkin time of 4 PM (ugh!). They let us check in at 2 PM after I insisted a bunch. Finally, I had a negative experience on the last morning. I was too sick to go down for the breakfast buffet, so my partner tried to bring some food up for me. They insisted that he could only bring up a slice of bread. He had to argue and add some fruit and an egg. Ridiculous, considering that I had paid for breakfast!

Overall the hotel is nice and modern with good hot springs facilities and hot springs tub in the room. However our good experience there did not start off well with our bad experience with the lady receptionist named Mandy. She did not tell us about the free beverages and snacks we could enjoy in the room. When I overheard the male receptionist telling the guests next to us about this privilege, I asked her if there is a fridge in the room hoping that she would tell us about the free drinks and snacks. But again she just said there is a fridge. In the end I have to ask if we have to pay for the stuff before she reluctantly said they are free with a very bad attitude. And when we asked about the other facilities she told us to switch on the TV in the room to find out. It is important for a receptionist to let the guests know what they can enjoy at the hotel for things and facilities they have paid for. So, our experience at the hotel could have been better if we had received good service during check in.

This is my second time staying at Asia pacific hotel. However unfortunately the public hot spring opens too late and closes too early, from 9 am to 10 pm only. Though there’s a personal onsen in your hotel room but the ambience is different. Therefore thats the only disadvantage staying at this hotel.

Hotel did not disinfect the hot spring tub, I got yeast infection after using the tub. With the high price and late check-in, early check-out schedule. (Check in after 4pm, Check out before 11am) I would expect the hotel to clean and disinfect hot spring tub thoroughly knowing all guests will be using the tub. After all, it is a Hot Spring hotel! Very disappointed. For all the ladies, be aware!!

It is a hidden gem for relaxation and heeling. Nice size room, luxurious bedding, good size hot spring soaking tub, and even a small seating area for after hot spring to cool. Hot spring quality should be world class level. Nearby Yangming National park has number natural trails for all levels. And the staffs are polite and always ready to help! As frequent customer, we are a fan!

We enjoyed our short stay at Asia Pacific Beitou and truly wish we could have extended our stay. We notified the hotel that we were arriving ahead of check-in time and they helped to store our luggages as we went about our day. Everyone that we had the pleasure of interacting with were so nice - especially the porters and the front desk. When we left our bags, Darren gave us an introduction of the property and informed us that we were upgraded - lucky us! We were also given water while were waited for the shuttle bus. The hotel provides a shuttle service around the area and to Xinbeitou and Beitou stations, it was super convenient. Not to mention, if you speak Mandarin, the porter/driver gave us great food recommendations for Beitou! The room was clean and comfortable with its own hot spring tub. We wish we had more time here!

Stayed one night for hot spring weekend. Hotel is at the hill top near top quality hot spring source. You can overlook layers of green hill and enjoy the hot spring in your private own room. Premium room has a small Japanese style siting rest area for cooling and sweating after hot bath. Room is clean, has premium bedding, and Japanese style pajamas. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner at the only restaurant in the hotel. Light and healthy, just perfect for a weekend stay.

We had an amazing time and the service was excellent. The hot spring in the room and downstairs were great and there were plenty of amenities for our little one. The one downside would be the limited dining options during off-hours (we were very jet-lagged and awake at odd times).
