Great location, walkable distance to many famous landmarks: Taichung Train Station, Miyahara store, Taichung City Hall. It is close to lots of good eateries, restaurants, and milk tea stores. At the corner, there is a bakery that we highly recommend; it has excellent sandwiches and is always crowded. The reception staff is very helpful. The reception area is welcoming with some snacks and a warm delicious date drink. We got Room 715. It is of decent size and has a balcony. Due to some mistakes from Expedia, we had some confusion about the room that was assigned to us. We are grateful that Steven at the reception desk worked hard with his manager Derek to resolve the issue. The hotel does not have breakfast. We appreciate having a Nespresso machine in the room. In addition, Nespresso capsules, snacks, and soft drinks are provided daily. There is no laundry facility. But across the street, there is a 24 hour self-service laundromat.

The hotel and area is great. I stay here fairly often.

Well very good except that the bathroom ventilation fan is always on and unable to switch off so could be problem when sleeping.

Comfortable bed and clean, convenience

The hotel is clean, but has a strong perfume smell by the lobby(which is too much for people who are sensitive to fragrance). 10 minutes walk to taichung station and back of taichiung staion is tokoro mall , below the mall if a 24 hour grocery and it lots of food options. Not too much dining option near the hotel, there is a bakery beside the hotel. Second market is near the hotel but not much to see and eat . Free water and drinks inside the room. The rooms are clean and spacious.

Very friendly staff. Super clean room. Decent size for one of the smaller rooms offered. If you’re bringing lots of bags, don’t expect to leave them all open, but space to open 1-2 large bags. Cute vintage shop nearby, along with a solid and very affordable bakery.

For the price, this hotel far exceeded expectations. The room was large and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel was conveniently located near station and many sights.

The hotel is very clean n comfortable. Staff are very nice n efficient. Property is close to TaiChung Railway Station (10 minutes walk. Along the road there are tourist attraction too e.g 宫原眼科。

During this trip, we stayed in 4 hotels. Out of these 4 hotels, Blu Sky hotel is the best hotel that we stayed in. It is comparable to all hotels we stayed in Japan, and is better than most. The room design is the best in all the hotels we stayed. We had a minor issue with the airconditioning. Unfortunately, the hotel staff was bery sorry not to be able to fix as the issue needs maintenance staff. When we checked out, we were given a gift as their way to say sorry on the aircon issue. Friendly and helpful staff

We had a wonderful stay here! It's a beautiful, cool and clean hotel right in the heart of Taichung. While we were staying, a typhoon hit Taiwan and it was very scary. The staff here helped by telling us what to expect, extended our stay and even helped us change the travel plans we had made. We're very lucky that we got to wait out the typhoon in such a comfortable hotel with fantastic staff!

Our room was super clean and up-to-date, although it was a bit weird having with no window looking outside. The front desk staff were very helpful, especially Steven, who arranged a bubble tea class for us to attend, which was probably one of the highlights of our visit there.

Great place to stay at

Our room was clean. The water pressure was great. Staff was super friendly, always available and ready to help. Our next hotel cancelled our reservation due to typhoon warnings, staff was incredibly accommodating to help us book an additional night. The hotel also restocks the complimentary eight bottles of water and snacks every day. Location was pretty conveniently located. Would absolutely stay here again the next time we're in Taichung.

My first impression of the room was that it was a bit dim. But I stayed there for four nights and very quickly I didn’t think it was an issue any more. The bathroom was a bit odd. It was small and they had a large heavy door that made it awkward to go in. A sliding door would have been much more appropriate. The toilet had a bit of issue, it doesn’t flush properly if you flush it multiple times right after another. If you don’t hold down the flush long enough and then try to flush it again straight away, it won’t work. Essentially need to wait like 5 mins between each flush which was annoying. Shower pressure was good. The hotel surprisingly didn’t have any maps to give out or a website. You had to book via a third party site. Aircon was quite cold. Although there was a control on the wall, I don’t think it did anything. Bottled water was provided. Linen was a bit rough. Close to bus stops and markets. Convenient store about two blocks away. A dessert place with yummy taro balls is across the street, definitely try them out. Would recommend.

I like the hotel design, the lagguage bags wall, the carpet on the corridor, balcony, love the big toilet, specially like the white painting walls, very clean feel yet with the black trimming, simplicity.

A new and clean hotel. Highly recommended.
