Nice & clean hotel with friendly staffs & services. The hotel offers complimentary shuttle bus between the hotel & HSR Chiayi station. It is located next to the Southern branch of National Palace Museum. Easy walk to the museum. Looks like a new developed area so not many stores & restaurants nearby.

New upscale hotel with great location, wide vareity of breKfast selections and helpful staff. We selected this hotel last minute after the earthquake changed our plans. We had a wonderful stay and gladly stay there again.

you can borrow bicycle and even light motorcycle at the front as transportation.
Only one little trouble is the TV controller is not working very well.

Staff are very helpful and friendly. Room is very clean and spacious. We ordered the same dishes in the restaurant for the past two days as they’re extremely delicious. What I do appreciate most about this hotel is this hotel shuttle bus service is excellent. Although I travelled with my disabled wife in a wheelchair, we got all the assistance during our stay.

Service was great and friendly. Location is in a peaceful area, but there are not many food options nearby, so we had dinner at the hotel. Buffet had a good selection and was reasonably priced. The room was on.the small side but otherwise nice. Pool is also small but we were the only ones there so had a great time. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Evergreen Palace opened in Dec. 2019 and currently still in soft opening phase. Overall the stay was good with room for improvement.
Hotel still had that fresh renovation smell and breakfast buffet was acceptable for a business hotel.
Southern Branch of the National Palace Museum was right across the street within a short 5 - 10 min walk. Otherwise, there is not much to eat around the area (besides McDonalds), you will need to drive to the nightmarket downtown which took around 25 mins. Definitely go there and try out the famous Chiayi chicken rice.
Some areas of improvement needed at Evergreen:
1. the hairdryer was too weak, even as a guy, it took 10+ mins to dry my hair
2. you need to sign out for the treadmill key and remote control from gym reception... receptionist needs to tell guests proactively and also put up a sign in the gym
3. room card had problem swiping when checking in on the first night, had to go down and get it reprogrammed
