Have a self serve laundry, so you don't need a lot of clothes. Across the street ton of public transportation. With new renovation room, small, it's nice.

Great value for the hotel. Clean, roomy, the two twin beds could have slept 4 people. Breakfast was excellent, not the typical continental breakfast, but Taiwanese style porridge with lots of fixings. Fresh cooked eggs and veggies, too. Would stay here again as it is right across the street from Xindian Station. Very convenient location.

Hotel is convieniently located next to a metro train and bus station. Room is clean and tidy. What is important is that the staff here are friendly and accommodating. We had a few nights stay here; even thought the breakfast were provided but we leave hotel early each morning, hence, missed all the breakfast. Staff were kind to give us fruits basket instead. Each night as we returned, we got a busker full of fresh fruits. On our last morning, we managed to enjoy the breakfast, which was, to our surprise, a healthy varieties of food, awesome. We enjoyed our stay. This hotel is strongly recommended.

Ok stay for the price, not very clean, dust observed all over room, near mrt station but it is the last station. Hence very far for other attractions and needed to add addition 30 min for travelling. Near by the bitan river which can be easily accessed.

Close to amenities, terminus station of Green Line (Xindian) MRT across the street, steps away from Bitan recreational area, fairly priced. Combined bath/shower has no shower curtain or glass wall and washing up sprays all over the bathroom despite greatest care. Whole hotel is tired and needs some updating (TLC?). Breakfast buffet is adequate, mostly Taiwanese style - western menu items minimal. Barely any english spoken by hotel staff as this hotel appears to be aimed at the regional/local market. Our room faced the front of the hotel and the road traffic noise meant that we could not open the window, but when closed the sound level was acceptable.

This is our go-to hotel for overnight stays in the Xindian area. Comfortable rooms/beds and good service. One thing that could be improved is that there are no shower walls or curtains, everything in the bathroom gets a shower when you do.
This was my first time to drive my own vehicle to New California; the parking lot can be conveniently accessed by some stairs up from the riverside parking area but there was some confusion about the parking fee. (They said there would be a parking token they would cover the fee for, the people at the parking lot said there weren't tokens because the hotel could handle it automatically from there, in the end the hotel gave me a certain amount to reimburse for the parking but it was very slightly less than the actual cost)

Just across from Xindian station on the MRT Green line and a 1 minute walk from the Bitan riverside area. Room was not spotless (mold on shower caulk) but was clean in general and didn't smell like cigarette smoke. Breakfast buffet wasn't very good and seemed like they didn't expect many people to eat it, but the location and rooms are good. Would stay there again.

Everything would be 10/10 except 2 problems - room smelled like smoke, no shower curtain. Really suggest making a shower curtain, and making sure nonsmoking rooms do not have a lingering smoke smell (I understand some guests may not adhere to rules). Otherwise clean, well designed and modern, excellent value for price, decent breakfast, very nice surprise tiny massage chair in the room.

From Taoyuan Airport I took a bus number 1968 and got off at the last stop(MRT Xindian station). I asked the driver for the direction to the hotel.

Overall, the hotel location, the equipment and the breakfast food is good, just not satisfied with the following points:-
- The hotel room did not install the security lock.
- There is no equipment mirror in the room (only in the bathroom).
- The complimentary snacks in the room have been expiry.
I hope that the hotel management can improve these points. I will stay in this hotel again in August.

An excellent hotel. Superb value for money. On one side is the bustling Xindian neighborhood. On the other side (make sure you get a room facing the river) is quiet and pristine. I read some neg reviews on the breakfast and I disagree. I think it has to do with palate. The spread is a good one and cooked nicely by the aunties. Almost like good home comfort Chinese porridge with excellent prepared "giam".
The only negative is other guest smoking in their room, in a non smoking hotel. This is very unfair to other guests who book this hotelbecause it is non smoking. But have to deal with the bad air. I feel there is a need for the hotel to enforce this strictly. Even to the point of asking the offending guest to leave. Somehting needs to be done about this.
