Great location, next to train station. Clean room. Large bathroom with multiple sink.

This hotel is right by the train station and is not the only Norway hotel. Please pay attention , especially if you have a trip planned that picks you up at the hotel. I stayed at Norway 1, and just 2 minutes walk there was a Norway 3. At first I was also confused finding it, as the Uber driver dropped us at the nearby hotel. It is attached to Hotel Lesure Taichung ( super nice in the lobby). By mistake we entered there and the girl took us to the right one , just next door. The Norway hotel was very colorful and did not seem like a usual hotel. The lobby area was pretty small and the girls working there spoke no English. Thanks to the Google translate. We checked in earlier and they were kind to keep our luggage till we went to visit Rainbow Village. The room had a huge king size bed, but it was pretty small in general. We got coffee and tea makers, as well as toiletries ( soap, tooth paste and brush, hair comb). The room was at the 7th floor facing the train station. It is also very close to the mall( just across from the train station) which is on the other side of the street. The hotel offers complimentary breakfast at the second floor. To go up and down you have to wait for quite some time for the elevator, as there is only one. The room was very clean, the only downside was that the bathroom had a glass door that you can see shadows through, and there is no shower cabin, just the bathtub one. If you are a pretty tall person, be mindful as the shower head is quite lower

The hotel is literally a short walking distance to Taichung railway station and bus interchange as well as Miyahara. Super convenient to take bus to Yizhong and Fengjia night market. We travel around Taichung via public transport. It was also hassle free after we check out and take train to high speed rail station when we travel back to Taipei. Will choose to stay in Norway forest again.

The hotel have a nice play area for children. Very good for the kids to keep themselves entertained. The rooms are also nice and colourful suitable for family. I'll be back again next time.

Is very near to the train station, very convenient but.. there are many homeless ppl around the area. So some ppl might not like it

booked this hotel last min on my way to Taichung from the HSR train and it really was a fun little place. It had a quirky design like a lot of hotels in Taiwan if you don't mind that. The staff was very helpful and friendly! the Room was a nice size for 2 people, the bathroom was more for 1 person at a time, but the shower was really nice pressure and the Price was great ! the ONLY problem for me was the pillows being too firm. thats all! and i travel and stay in hotels all over the world. So if you just want a clean place to sleep then its here. also the train station is outside the door if you are taking that. and the HSR station is about a $250 NT taxi ride away.

The hotel is right across Taichung Railroad station (which is NOT the MRT) and has a lot of dining and shopping options nearby. The hotel is a small property but it has quite some activities, especially for the kids. Beware that there are always a big crowds outside of the front door of the hotel after dark. The condition and the size of the room was good enough for a short stay. Their check-in time is late perhaps because they only have one small elevator and they couldn't have too many cleaning crews working at the same time. The breakfast quality was alright, but you could see their thoughtfulness when they tried to provide different items on the two consecutive days I went. Overall it is a pleasant stay, considering the low price.

It’s a hotel right next to the Taichung Train Station. But don’t expect much. The lobby is congested. There is only one rather small elevator for all 11 floors and it runs super slow. I ended up rather just taking the stairs to get to my room on the 7th floor. If you travel for business or expect to do online meetings, I would not recommend as the internal connection is probably the slowest I have experienced in dozens of hotels I stayed in 10+ counties including quite a few in Taichung. On the day of checking out, I was trying to download and upload a few documents before the check out time at 11 am. The internet worked so slow that it took forever to download/upload a few documents of about 10MB each. Normally it should take no more than a few minutes… but it ran for 15+ mins and still running … yet at the same time, the front desk kept on calling you to check out … even it was just hit the check out time at 11 am. I were all ready to go down stairs to check out if I was not held up waiting for slow internet. This will be on the very bottom of my list when I travel to Taichung next time. There is another hotel, Hotel 53, I stay during my last trip, just about a few mins walk away is many times better.

Hotel can easily be spotted from the Taichung station; about 5 min walk away. Bus terminal and a few convenience stores are also nearby. Staff are friendly and quite helpful.

Check in was a breeze. Staff are polite. Room is exactly as shown in photos. Surprised that there is sound system in the room, great when watching movies. Room is small but comfortable. Bath tub is great, kids loved it. Hotel has a small kids play area and has roof top access to see a good view of the station.

Very good locations. Right opp the train stations. Nearby has 7-11, watson etc.. Room is clean and cozy. The playground is siitable for kids below 7yrs. Buffet breakfast is decent.

a little quirky and off-beat. full halloween drag on. Conveniently located.

Nothing to complain about. Good $ rate. Friendly staff. Free coffee in lobby. Proximity of taxi, train and bus station is very convenient.
