Liberta Hostel

Although the private rooms are quite small, the location is perfect just off Khaosan road yet far enough that it isn't too noisy at night. The hostel is perfectly fine also, for the price you pay it is good value. I must also mention the South Asian man at reception who works the day shift was an absolute gentleman and was so helpful and polite, great guy who made the stay even better.

I don't think the place deserves all of those bad reviews, it's definitely not a 5 star hotel, but it wasn't as bad as we read. The location is great just, 3min walking to Khaosan road, and far enough to not hear the noise. The private room we had was very clean, the bed sheets and pillows didn't have any stain and wasn't smelly, the room is quite small for two people but for a couple of nights it wasn't a big deal. The bathroom was clean too, and the staff were making sure that it was being cleaned throughout the whole day, it definitely has a smell of mold as there is no airflow, perhaps leaving the doors open would help on that. The staff were incredible, Izze (sorry if I wrote your name wrong) the staff in the morning is a wonderful person and helped us out with everything we needed, we arrived at 7am and he made sure that we were feeling comfortable and good while waiting for the room to be ready, there was an early check out and he went straight into cleaning the room so we didn't have to wait until 2pm. We were there just at the beginning of the high season, so the bar wasn't working, and there wasn't much guests around also, can't say how it's during high season. Service is amazing, regarding cleanliness and comfort I believe it's very relative for this place.

Never again. This place was the worst i ever been to. The room was so different than in pictures. We stayed in the private room and it was just horrible. Very dirty, tiny, not even a space to put our bags. The building was creepy and dirty and the shower/toilet i dont even wanna start.. We were forced to remove our shoes before taking the stairs.. but the floor was so dirty it was hard. Not a friendly staff either. A night it rain really hard and there was a hole in the ceiling, so it droped all night in our bed. We asked to change room, of course not possible. We asked also for a refund because it was just a joke. They said they will do it but obviously it never happen. Please don’t go there

This is a very good hostel! Nice rooms, very central and a very good loft where you can sleep if you come early:)) The staff was really helpful and took good care of us! Will definitely come back here next time I’m in Bangkok!

Great price and a great location. Rooftop bar is excellent, I made some friends and had a good night. Staff do their best to be helpful and accommodating. The rooms are basic but have everything you need and comfortable mattresses (not wood hard) I was very comfortable here.
