Sea Dance Resort

Fabulous stay at this hotel. I went there for my 60th birthday and it did not disappoint, The attention to detail that went into arranging the meal on the beach for my birthday was first class, my heartfelt thanks goes to Lek and the team for arranging this. It made my birthday memorable. The hotel is very welcoming and I would highly recommend

We stayed in a beach side villa with plunge pool. The bedroom was very clean with a very comfy bed and nice crisp linen. Air con was good which pleased my husband and the light duvet pleased me! Bath ribes, shower gel and hand wash were provided, but no moisturiser. Travel toothbrushes, shower caps and cotton buds also provided, as well as bath robes. Swim towels and bath towels were in each room, as well as pool towels on the sun beds. Service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Collette even taught us some basic Thai phrases.

I will start by saying that the customer service is really top notch! Unfortunately, there were two significant errors in connection to how the resort is presented on Hotels.com and at least one other website that are worth noting right away: 1) THERE IS NO ONSITE SPA. Apparently, this was discontinued sometime during COVID, but this booking site still lists it in detail. I came expecting to have a restful retreat and was very disappointed to learn on arrival that I would have to leave the resort for a spa. However, I will say the spa they recommended was excellent and provided transportation for me. 2) For Hotels.com status members it says you get roundtrip transport from the airport, which was apparently some miscommunication between the companies. After much runaround, the hotel did offer me this service that was in my booking. Hopefully, this has now been removed or otherwise corrected. The property is lovely and tucked away. A small beach area & a bit rocky, but still nice. I found that it was generally very quiet and relaxing ambience. All the staff are extremely kind and do their best to be helpful. Villa 1 where I stayed is right next to the main resort pool and initially severely lacked privacy - when I brought this to their attention, they erected a bamboo fence the same day, so I could better enjoy my patio and pool area!! The food is good, included breakfast suitable. Room service is offered at no additional cost - a bonus! Many thanks to the Sea Dance staff!

Amazing resort. Rooms and facilities were great with beautiful furnishings, lots of room, and eco-friendly. All the bases covered with towels for the pool / beach provided, kayaks and paddle boards available for free, selection of books to read. The pool area in particular was excellent with an amazing view out onto a private beach, food and bar options and great service. Would absolutely recommend to anyone travelling to Samui

Spent an amazing 6 days at the resort. All staff were so friendly and took the time to know our names. Fantastic food and accommodation and will definitely return.

Lovely stay. Would definitely return. The staff were so attentive and friendly. Peaceful, quiet. Bungalow was spacious and comfortable. Private pool great. Food was really good. Wonderful massages. The only thing that could have been better was for the room to have screens so the doors could have been left open at night. That said, bugs were not actually a problem and the A/C kept the room cool. Really good.

Lovely little resort with character and very friendly staff and management. Nice common pool area with sea view, and great restaurant with happy hour and good food. Bungalows were very nice, though the only downside was that the plunge pool was not very clean. The beach is quite rocky and the water was a bit stormy when we were there but the pool area is a great place to relax. Best of all the staff were super helpful and friendly, with excellent service and willingness to help out with issues small and large. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Nice place, lovely beachside location. Disappointing that there wasn’t really a gym when that was one of my criteria for booking and there’s not much to do within walking distance

We had an amazing time at Sea Dance. Faith and the rest of the staff were all so accommodating. The property itself is beautiful with lots of places to hang around with or without other guests. We ended up extending our flight by a few hours on our last day just to hang around on the property. The included breakfast was always tasty and plentiful with lots of options. The on-site restaurant was a little expensive by Thailand standards, but you get was you pay for with big portions and premium ingredients. The beach it's on was a little rocky but it was also a short walk or ride to Choeng Mon beach. Overall an amazing stay.

Sea Dance is private and quiet but the staff make it an excellent place to spend your holiday.....John, Jonny, Phoeo, Bicky, Faith and Helen wake up every day looking for ways to make your stay a memorable one. They learned that we were celebrating our 31st wedding anniversary and created a beautiful flower arrangement in our room congratulating us....very thoughtful and shows the attention to detail they have mastered. The grounds are beautiful and the setting is scenic. The food is high quality at a reasonable price, the Thai dishes are especially good. The beach is rocky but that makes it a quiet place. We highly recommend Sea Dance Resort....Tom & Laura

Beautiful setting, friendly and helpful staff, a visible and engaging owner, good food, good pool, lovely beach, and great location if you don't mind being a short taxi from the more populated areas.

Room not huge but okay. Many slugs in the bathroom at night.Decking in need of re-varnishing. Immediate beach okay but walking beyond the adjacent hotel was like walking on a rubbish tip. Breakfast was okay. Staff were pleasant and polite

Suprise experience

Beautiful resort and room (we did one with a private dip pool with garden view). The privacy was great but then we could go to the gorgeous resort pool overlooking the sea. One large gripe is the location, far from everything and the hotel will gouge you on prices for pickup to and from the airport / ferry. Beach at the resort is pretty but small and not attached to other beaches. Breakfast was pretty good, restaurant was pretty.

Hands down the best hospitality and paradise vibe of any holiday resort in the world.
