The person (taklu) who is responsible for the receprion desk has no clue that he is working in a service firm, rude, too frustrated a guy would welcome you, unpleasant experience.
The hotel staff may turn off the room ac anytime...unbelievable but true....
Blanket that they provide is of very low quality... you have to be lucky enough to get a quality blanket,, coz they r limited in numbers as OYO had once offered rooms in this bakwas hotel too.
Thanks to OYO.. that they left this guest house

The stay at the hotel was very pathetic and the manager didn't even knew about my booking done through Makemytrip and after denying for a while for room I was provided with a room. The bed linen was dirty and even after request for change it was not changed. The manager was very rude and rough in his talks. There were red ants all around the bed and over the toilet seat in bathroom. The bathroom was very smelly. Many people were smoking on the stairs outside of their room and the whole atmosphere was very smoky and smelly. Not at all recommended for stay in the said hotel.

Big , spacious rooms. Furniture and decoration adds a expensive and classic look. Moreover it is located just opposite to Lake Mall making it best place to stay in South Kolkata. But instead of 4 , I could have given 5 stars if they had inhouse restuarent and hired more decent staffs.

Good hotel to stay . Nice , spacious and clean rooms stayed their many times . Booked room through oyo as well as directly. Location is prime on main road rash vihari avenue road just opposite to lake mall. Street food is available nearby also their is food court in opposite mall.

Its an Indian hotel.... The receptionist is a warm lad... But the room service is not really efficient, and the hotel doesn't have a restaurant. Even the 'complimentary' breakfast served is mediocre. These problems aside Saanti Vilas is a good place
