Aqua Blue Hotel

The woman at reception was amazing and went above and beyond to try and compensate for several mishaps, but she unfortunately only had enough to give for what the hotel offers. I tried to reach out to management about our stay and got no response after repeated tries. I'm quite disappointed.

Our stay at Aqua Blue was pretty disappointing. We were booked in a room on the second floor that had a slider onto a balcony/roof deck. The key did not work so I left my boys and went back down to the lobby to get the key reset, which went well. The gal at the front desk was very nice. When I came back up, my boys had already gotten into the room. They had gone out onto the roof deck and been able to enter the room via the slider because the slider had no lock once we get in the room. We also noticed that the table in between the beds was falling off the wall, so I called down to the lobby and the girl at the front desk, said that she would work on getting us another room. She got us into the room next-door, which had a lock on the slider and looked pretty nice. We came here for the pool. The pool was very cloudy. They ran the cleaner and we went back an hour later. It was less dirty. The pool temp was 99 and the hot tub was much cooler, probably like 85. We did not stay in long. Our tub our bathroom didn’t drain and we had no cable box in our room so could not watch tv. Pretty dirty and run down. Only good thing is the location to Narragansett beach. But that’s not enough. We did not stay the night. We left around 9:45 because we just were grossed out. The gal at the front desk refunded the deposit to my car right away and mentioned maybe a partial refund. I reached out to them via email about it and did not hear back. I didn’t expect to.

To start, we wanted to use the hot tub, which has been closed for 3 years! Nothing on your website that said anything about that!! Front desk said the pool was open ..but my husband went down to check it out and the water was green and no heat in the pool area. Misleading on the partial ocean view, we needed to go on the balcony to see the ocean. The location to Narragansett town beach is great but hotel needs to do an upgrade!!

The location was excellent. Perfect proximity to the ocean and shopping and restaurants. All walkable from the hotel! Our biggest issue was the pool. We booked it specifically for the pool so the kids could swim indoors in the winter, however, it was very green and cloudy. It looked like it had not been cared for and we did not want to go in. Additionally, the hot tub was broken. Other than that, the lobby was nice and the decor/artwork around the hotel was beautiful. The room was a little dusty, but the bedding was nice. There were many light fixtures and blinds in our room that didn't work properly. The hotel seemed a little run down over all.

There was no one there to check us in. After waiting almost 2 hours, I had to leave and go somewhere else. Save yourself and go to Atlantic House down the street

Good place for a weekend getaway

The staff is very helpful and friendly. The rooms are great, jetted tubs, beautifully decorated, comfortable beds and wonderful views. We could see Narragansett town beach (which is a very close walk away) the post office (which is a beautiful historic building) and even the Newport bridge in the far distance. My son absolutely loved the pool and the toys that happened to be there to play with.

The hotel rooms could use updated carpets very old and looked dirty.

We come every year for the night before Thanksgiving and we love the rooms that have the balcony and ocean views! They always make our stay so special!!! Plus it’s awesome that just about every room has an extra sitting area!!!

My stay for 2 nights was good, for others could be not. Out of all lights in the room only 1 worked, tv didnt work or at least connect with the cable, bathroom was decent and overall cleanliness was good. The hotel felt very vacant like i was the only one there and everytime i got on the elevator i prayed it didnt break although it was checked a couple of months before my stay.
