Great hotel for a great price. Front desk staff was kind and welcoming, very helpful and prompt with check in. Rooms comfortable and clean as well!!! Highly recommend.

The property is a lot better than the last time we stayed there. A lot of work has been put into this property. Friendly staff and excellent service getting us to the airport on time in snow to get our flight.

Room was immaculate except for a couple overlooked toenail clippings on the vanity, nice room, the window was very drafty but the staff was amazing and was warm enough.

It was wonderful for us because we have 2 dogs. Nice area to get the dogs out for a walk. Only problem when we took them out at night we were unable to get out the door. Not sure why. Other than that out stay was wonderful. Thank you

The staff working there was very friendly and helpful. We were disappointed to find out at check-in that the pool was closed, as it was one of the main reasons we had chosen this hotel. I know of other hotels that update their Expedia listing if their pool is temporarily unavailable, but Bangor Grande did not. We would probably stay here again because the price was a good value for the money, but we'll definitely call ahead to check on the pool before making a reservation.

We had a pet with us so I had to go in the pet section which was a long way from the front of the building on the second floor and they had no elevators. Being winter we have quite a bit of our belongings to take up with us. I was not impressed.

The staff was polite and helpful. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable, the linens, bathroom and towels were clean/hygienic. The room was pretty quiet, even for being only 3 doors down from the reception area. Reasonably priced. Very close to the airport and shopping areas. Easy to find.
However, the place seemed older than on the pictures so things were a bit run down for example the bathroom door was scratched pretty deep and the lock didn't work on it, there was scotchtape holding wallpaper up where it had ripped, the wall plugs near the bed lamps were loose so it made it hard to charge the phone. The pool lights were green so it made the color of the pool water seems very unwelcoming (to the point that we really didn't want to use it even though we had booked the hotel because of the pool).

We got stuck in a snowstorm and had to make a last minute booking for an overnight stay. We had to use our in-laws card to pay as this was an unexpected expense. At the counter the clerk was very hostile with us. We didn’t physically have the card on us since this was an emergency and they almost refused us the room. But after lots of back and forth, we got the room. The room was quite dated. The bathroom being the worst piece appearing to be straight out of the 90’s perhaps? Checkout was painless the next day. You also do hear the planes landing at the airport next door.
