Buyer Beware!! My $120 room was $217 after $80 in tax/fees were added!! I had stayed in a neighboring hotel the previous night with $20 tax/fees, so I did not look as closely as I should have when booking this property. It's a LaQuinta property recently bought by Baymont and is under construction. Room was renovated and nice, but hallways, doors and elevator were disgusting. I will not stay here again.

Crummy to say the least. Room floor was sticky in some areas, and just downright grimy in others. Renovation is no excuse for a bad job. The breakfast was burnt, expired, or so watered down you had soup. For the price I paid I'd at least expect the floors to be mopped. You know it's bad when salt is the best part of a breakfast.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! Worst hotel experience of my life. Hotel under construction, no pool, no ac, no amenities whatsoever. Staff was extremely rude. The front desk clerk for night shift i believe her name started with a C, should be fired!! She is a disgusting excuse for a human being. She refused to get my daughter a cot to sleep on and also refused to give me her manager’s #.

This hotel is in the process of being renovated. It could be a very nice hotel. The biggest problem was the lack of customer service. There is hardly ever anyone at the desk. During breakfast there is not anyone overseeing the items to make sure there is enough. The staff stays in the back where you can’t see them, so it’s hard to get refills. Our first room had to be changed, because it wasn’t clean. The second room did not have a “do not disturb” sign for when you left. All in all there is so much potential with a little initiative.

TL;DR version: it's a construction zone with poor customer service and a broken bed and non suite-suites. But the room is pretty. **Edit"**this morning there were workers on our balcony as we were sitting in the room. We've stayed at this hotel several times over the last several years. It's been doing renovations for at least the past 4. But we come back because it's affordable and it has a nice 1 bedroom suite. Or at least it did i don't think we'll be back. First of all, as I said, the hotel is under major renovations so the parking lot is a mess and difficult to navigate, especially with a large truck and trailer. The "lobby" is clean but the way to the elevator makes you feel like you shouldn't be there because of the construction. The lady who checked us in was very nice and friendly but anyone else we've dealt with has been borderline rude acting as if they're doing us a favor by answering questions or getting an extra blanket. And that's if you can find them. This was the first time we'd gotten a renovated room and it's beautiful, but I'd booked a suite as I always do, and was expecting a separate bedroom, as we always get. I came down to do some work and was looking forward to a somewhat comfortable couch to sit on. That's not what we got. At all. There isn't even a separate seating area. There's a bed (which I'll get to later) and a desk with a chair. I think there's supposed to be one, because there's a large empty area with a random table and lamp. No where else to sit. In a suite. When I asked about it at the front desk i was told they got rid of those rooms during the renovation. I told her i was at least expecting a separate seating area and she told me that i could get a larger room for an additional $100 a night. I've been to this hotel many times. I thought i know what i was booking... Which was the biggest room in the hotel. Nope. I'm not sure if she even apologized. This is getting long so I'll just make a list of the rest of the issues. The bed was comfy when I were first sat on it but it clicked after the first night and now it has a giant crater in the middle. And since there's no where else to sit I'm stuck in it. The shower is the size of a yoga mat. The shower doors won't stay closed The a/c doesn't work very well. The room has a balcony but it's "out of order" (probably cuz they're painting to hotel) so can't get any fresh air. The "view" is of construction materials The floors are hard and cold. The cable is antiquated and low quality. Don't know about the food. It's been good in the past but i can't eat it now because of food allergies. Mini fridge is somewhat cold. No freezer. It's nice and quiet. They did let us check in early which was nice. The parking lot has a crater you have to drive through since half the lot is blocked off. The Wi-Fi gives me a security warning when I tried to log in, so didn't use it. All in all, a disappointing experience. We've tolerated a lot over the years we've been coming because of the big suite and price, but those are gone so there's no reason to return. There are plenty of other hotels in town.
