Great for summertime when you wanna go to the beach. Dog friendly and good enough for us. No frills, and easy access to beach and for our paddle boards. For winter, not close enough to walk to casinos but only a $15 Uber trip.

Our key card never worked. We were told that a manager would call us after our stay and we never got that call. Also our room was Never cleaned and we made sure to leave early so they can clean it. Still waiting on my call please.

The beach retreat has a great location, just steps away from Lake Tahoe and restaurants nearby. The room was very clean and comfortable. However the room was very noisy, we could hear the people upstairs, on either side of us and outside of our room. Also there is a resort fee, but I felt like I didn't get very much for the fee, there was no lotion in the room and the pool was broken. Perhaps in the summer it is more of a "resort", but not in the winter. There are lots of people with dogs around, but surprisingly we did not hear any barking and the property was very clean.

Nothing on the bathroom counter, no soap or lotion. Coffee maker without cups.Found trash and hair tie on the floor. Disappointed. We enjoyed hot tub and boathouse restaurant.

Basically I would consider staying at this place only and only in case of emergency , like trapped in snow storm and no other option! Fundamentally this property is unmanaged!

This is a nice property if their management starts taking care of the property.They finally gave us a room after 3 hours (check in time was 4, got the room at 7). There was a short electrical plug that made lots of noise. They gave us a different room that was ant infested. Staff were impolite. Pool was closed. They had no capacity for the number of guest! The rooms were outdated and not cleaned properly. The only good thing at this property was its nice view of the lake!
