4 things I want to mention about this very nice hotel. 1. Check in is alway slow. Issued key to room that key fob doesn't work. Had to return to front desk and ultimately switch rooms. 2. Wanted a light dinner so went to order from in house Dickies restaurant. Combo meal advertised for $13 rang up at $18. When asked, Ms stated they've not updated the menu boards. (6 chicken wings, small fries, soda). 3. When leaving, wanted Ice for thermos as I work from auto doing home inspections.... Ice machine on floor 2 doesn't work, and there is no public ice machine available on floor 1. 4. Last complaint - no complimentary breakfast here. I promise I'm not a big complainer. I travel for work through this area frequently and have stayed here many times. The rooms are great and clean and reasonably priced, but the other inconveniences mentioned above take away from the stay. Guess I'm just tired and grumpy...

No covers on bed, trash on the floor under the bathroom sink, trash in the desk drawer , water or something on the floor in the room, not enough towels. No one answering the telephone when you call down. Had to go to the desk for covers, remote for tv and towels.

When arriving at the hotel around 5pm the room was not ready, they sent us to the room with the card to open the door after check in but it was a big mess inside of the room. We went back to the front desk to clarify that situation and the manager apologize and sent us back to another room that was not ready yet, then at the third attempt she sent an employee with us to verify the status of the room and finally at the fourth attempt we found a room ready , clean with the bed done but with no towels. In my opinion they do not have enough employees working at the facility. In general customer service is very poor, the manager at the front desk apologize several times but is it not enough. At check out I asked for a receipt and the lady in charge told us “I am new in this job the manager is not here and I do not know how to do it” . I will email the receipt to you but we are still waiting. Horrible experience.

They charged me extra saying that expieda had the price wrong. We could have not paid the 40 extra but we had no power from the hurricane. The hotel was dirty and the rooms were missing basic items. Like blankets and pillow cases.

The hotel overview is pretty. The service not so much. There was only one person at the front desk no one at the bar and the front desk lady said she did t know how to make drinks we could have only get beer or shots she stated. One person in the restaurant area, no pool, and no face towels in bathroom only 2 bath towels went to ask the front desk she supposedly wrote down how many I needed she said they were drying but she never got back to me about any. The room was very nice though and the shower was awesome.! Just need a lil tweaks here and there. It has plenty of parking which was a plus. I only stayed one night and I didn’t stay the full time I checked out at 5am Monday. The 2rd floor outdoor sitting area was awesome.

Stayed in after Hurricane Beryl because our home had no electricity. One of the last hotels in the area open and excepted pets. The staff was very unprepared for an influx of guests. Took 30 minutes to check in even though I had a reservation. The room was more spacious than I thought, on the 4th floor overlooking the parking lot and a BBQ restaurant. The floor was dirty as was the microwave. The mini fridge still had someone else’s chicken salad in it. The lobby was a little depressing. Hard chairs, not much decor and a sad looking, closed bar. I know it was packed with families looking to escape the heat of their homes after a hurricane but the children running up and down the halls and playing in the elevators wasn’t pleasant. I liked that they had pay as you go washers and dryers. Came in very handy if you had quarters ($2 for wash and $2 to dry). All in all I would say it was a good stay for the emergency need we had. I would also suggest they fire or at least retrain the cleaning crew as they aren’t doing such a great job.

Hotel was nice, we stayed cause a hurricane was coming. They have no back up generators so when power went out it was miserable.
