Service was exceptional! Staff was friendly, supportive and helpful to my special needs. The hotel was in a nice quiet setting, surrounded by woods and away from any traffic noise, yet easy access to main roads. The dogs and I settled in easily. Would be happy to stay here again!

It was very quiet. Great spacious room for the price. Clean. It smelled like cigarettes tho. The staff was polite and very helpful. It felt like home away from home. I would definitely come there again when visiting salem.

It was a brief stay for a wake and funeral so I was simply looking for a bed, wifi and television.  Check in was extremely slow because it was the desk agent's first day.  The television didnt work, so I reported it to front desk.  Said he'd be up to check it.  Waited 45 mins; he never showed.  Many guest reviews report unresolved broken appliances. Decided to head to fitness room.  Exercise unit's integrated TV also didnt work.  Went to grab a water from the fitness room.   The cup dispenser was empty.   Finished my workout and returned to front desk to report the broken tv again.  Same desk agent, who Id reported the television not working about an hour earlier, seemed to have absolutely no recollection Id reported it previously.  It was truly bizarre.  In any event, he accompanied me back to the room and confirmed the television was not working.  Offered to relocate me. Since it was now 10pm, Id already settled in and I had a funeral to attend in the AM, I politely declined.   He offered IHG "points", when I had declined to register for IHG points when I checked in with him a few hours earlier.   Id have accepted a modest credit and been content, but points would do nothing for me.  Told him Id resort to my cellphone and Netflix.  He said okay, as though that were appropriate resolution. Plugged my phone's charger into bedside table charging port. It too was broken.  Awoken all night long by loud banging. Thankfully, it was only a one-night stay.  One night too many.

The hotel hall ways smelt like old sweaty feet and wet dog and hotel rooms had a very wet humid smell to it. When I was checking the room out, there were Q-tips on the ground in the bathroom, the towels were stained and had body hair on two of them and when I went to go check out the bedroom, I saw a bug on the wall. Honestly, not what I was expecting for when I’m spending $200 a night. In the bedrooms, there was no sheets for the pullout couch. Luckily, I brought my own and the pullout couch mattress was extremely flat. I don’t think that I would stay here again it was good for what was needed and that was a place to stay so I wasn’t driving on New Years Eve. Unfortunately I didn’t take any photos, but I hope I was able to give you an idea on what it was like

Had many conveniences, kitchen, shower. Pet friendly. Clean and smelled good. Price was decent. Front desk was kind and helpful. Snow plowing could use improvement, sidewalk was difficult to navigate but passable.

The hotel needs an update. couch in room was cheap, old and no support for back that is how worn out it was cushions sunk ready for garbage and had cat clawing marks The dishwasher after rinse cycle never pumped out water even after trying to rinse agaiin old dishwasher or needs repair room always smelled like cat piss it seems even if you washes rugs smell probably would linger probably due to cat at one time in room waa basically like a cat litter box so much so i had to go buy scented candles. all rooms were full because of halloween so i was stuck pot for cookimg were also old and burnt not enough silverware only service for 4 had to keep washing forks sad and no can openers for canned food nor bottle openers towels provided for baths were not bath size and small. also near sink in bathroom no soap holder had to leave soap on marble area tub itself was slippery to shower not a slip free modern tub they should provide a slip free tub or at least a bath mat coffee pot provided only was 2 cub server. my son also had a room his room had a normal coffee machine and did not smell of piss i was so disappointed with my stay. staff was nice and polite though but room experience was si bad
