The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The room was so nice and the outside dining area was special. I would highly recommend this property for stays near Hollywood and Los Feliz nature trail. We loved our hike to the Observatory, too.

The Cara was beautiful and had a really swanky vibe. Our room was a bit troublesome, with only hot water and no cold water, and our A/C didn’t cool properly. The staff couldn’t really fix it, although they tried. They did compensate us for the heat and inconvenience. The bar was cool and had a lovely outdoor area, great for photos with all the lush greenery. Brunch was great.

This place is a combination of a restaurant and a hotel, but unfortunately it doesn't seem to have been designed with the comfort of hotel guests in mind. The hotel rooms are located next to the restaurant tables, so you can hear customers talking and background music until midnight, making it difficult to sleep.
Also, the room is poorly soundproofed, we could hear our roommates talking.

So this is a very cool hotel. Well designed. Beautiful. But some big misses. No outlets in rooms to plug in phone and devices. And the big issue. No coffee until 7!!! I had to Uber eats Starbucks. For paying 500 a room this was inexcusable!! And I had to make it to a morning TV show. Put coffee machines in the rooms !

A great small hotel, very trendy feel about it. Staff were brilliant all round with special mention for Brian on the front of house team - he always seems to be in the “right place, right time” when we needed assistance.
Area feels run down and a bit seedy, but that’s Hollywood I guess!

The staff made us feel like we were family or guests inn their home. Incredible service. Beautiful hotel. Excellent experience. Wish we could have stayed longer.
