Clarion Hotel & Conference Center Leesburg

The hotel not in good shape. I slipped and fell in the public bathroom and the next morning I tried to take a shower and there was no hot water in either of the two rooms I had reserved. When I complained at front desk the young man said they should have told you our boiler is broken.

No hot water for shower in morning. Questionable breakfast. Towel rack broken and looked as though it was previously fixed. Ice machine hard to find as was breakfast area. Room appeared fairly clean though.

I work in healthcare and was given this hotel as a place to stay during a winter storm. The morning I had to go to work, I quickly found out they do not hire anyone to plow the parking lot. This made me very upset as they worked with my hospital to ensure essential employees would have a proper stay. Having to shovel your own path out to the main road is not a proper and welcoming stay.to add to it, the first room I was assigned too, would not open. The key would turn the lock green and when I tried opening it, it seemed like the lock was being used. It seemed like someone was already in it. I then got a new room, and the light in the bathroom made a terrible sound and flickered so fast the second you would turn it on. Overall, not a very good experience and would not come back, especially in a snowstorm.

Excellent hotel for the price

I DO NOT LINE THE VERY HIGH BEDS. I SM SHORT. I HAD TO TAKE the 2 couch pillows and 2 bed pillows to give me some stability to get into the bed. We are not all giants. Lower the beds.

The staff were outstanding! The facility was clean and quiet. I would’ve appreciated better signage outside. I wasn’t sure I was in the right place when I first arrived.

Well the main lobby, restaurant, bar, and conference center seemed to be up to date and kept in good condition. The rooms themseleves were lacking. The toilets in both our rooms ran constantly unless we fixed it ourselves. The toliet itself was leaking from the pipe and noticed our last morning that the staff had just shoved a towel under it to "gather" the water. The shower drained slower than grass grows. On one of the rooms the door handle would get stuck open and leave the room completely accessable to anyone walking by. Both rooms had pull out beds and the hotel was given plenty of notification that we would ve usuing those, well upon checking in we noticed no extra bedding was left for the pull out. When we called the front desk we were informed they didn't have any to give. They finally scrounged up some sheets for us to at least use on the bare mattress. Half the lights in the room didn't work. You could see peeling paint and water stains on the ceilings in the bathrooms. The staff on the other hand did everything they could for us and were absolutely amazing and these problems had nothing to do with them. The breakfast was basic but decent. Parking was also fine and easy to get in and out.

The property is really old. The breakfast very simple with no fruit options. The staff is nice but I wouldn’t recommend this place.

The first room I went into the toilet wouldn’t flush, there was no shower curtain. The bathroom had 2 towels, but I booked a room for 4 people. There was not enough pillows for everyone. The beds were so small & uncomfortable we decided to leave in the middle of the night. I would never suggest this hotel to anyone!

Good place

They should have noise proof walls. I couldn't sleep because of the people on top of my room and to side. Worst night ever.

The doors to get into the hotel section for our room didn’t work so guests kept the door propped open otherwise you would have to wait until someone walked by to help. The site also said breakfast was served until 11 but we found out at 9:30 that it actually ends at 9. The breakfast was one of the main reasons i booked there. I will not be booking there again. The location is convenient though.

I was really disappointed with this being a Clarion, it would have been more up to date. Although, it has just been painted and floors redone, it just wasn’t the standard I would like to see it being a Clarion.

A bit outdated. Loud screaming kids up to 1 am running up and down hallways. Friendly staff.
