Comfort Inn Gaslamp Convention Center

The hotel is accessible to restaurants and bars. Safe to walk on the street even during night time.

The Comfort Inn Hotel is good, but around of this, is a litle dirty, It smells bad.

Nice staffs, clear and functionable room, perfect location!

This area is accessible to tourist attractions such as seaport and more. There are lots of restaurants on fifth Street and perfect transportation. It is near to grocery store such as Ralph’s and more. The location is excellent and the breakfast was more than we could expect.

It is an older property but very quuet snd clean. Easy acess to the gaslamp district.

There was nothing on the site stating they would be a charge of $50.00 for parking, which also includes handicap parking. My husband and I are both handicapped and they had No handicap parking spots whatsoever unless you pay the $50.00 in a parking lot that they said is privately owned by someone else. They did offer the public city parking meters as an option however that was so unrealistic and unreasonable because there wasn’t any of those meters available as we drove around for blocks. So if we had found one the likelihood of it being close to the hotel was nearly zero. This situation was and is absolutely unacceptable and could or should be illegal. We were completely caught off guard and didn’t have that in our budget which caused a tremendous hardship on us. Being handicapped isn’t by choice and we shouldn’t be put in a situation that would cause us hardship, harm or the ability to enjoy our experience. We are extremely disappointed and feel discriminated against due to our handicap position.

Great hotel and exceptional service!

For $99 it was what you’d expect, smaller rooms than other comfort inns but the place is surrounded by homeless people so don’t go out alone. Other than that we have no complaints, the room was clean.The breakfast was really good too, we love the waffles

EVERYONE was so pleasant and very professional. All the staff encountered were so happy and you can tell they actually LOVE their job. I also enjoyed the welcome drinks, the complimentary snacks and coffee setups on each floor. I also enjoyed the daily breakfast. It is a beautiful and very clean property. I was extremely impressed and thoroughly satisfied my choice to stay here.

I reserved my room for a early check in and I showed up at 12 noon

This was a very small room for the price the bathroom didn’t have a sink basically 4 walls for $185.00 US

Experience was great. Parking is expensive. $50 a night is crazy. They don’t disclose that until you check in. I didn’t like that. Our keys didn’t work. It was finally fixed about 2 or 3 hours after we checked in. Breakfast was good. The 2 men Who were there to attend people at breakfast were great! Very attentive and nice. Everyone was nice. Place was decent and close to everything.

We had to leave early anyway, so that was the best thing. The area is full of homeless people who chat all night right outside your window. Sirens all night. San Diego's "gaslamp" area has become an expensive slum.

Property was great! Breakfast was superb and staff were the best

Overall it is a good place to stay within budget.
