Coronada Inn and Suites

Just a fair property. Hot water was on cold side of luke warm. Can see daylight around the outside door when closed. Heater was noisy. Room was clean.

I did not feel safe. The room smelled very bad. The person next door was yelling profanities. The TV in the sitting room was missing. The bathroom door would not close to latch. I should have taken photos

You get what you pay for. Staff nice but not much of a property

the tv did not work, no blow dryer, the breakfast was hardly a breakfast and the equipment was not working. it looked like you had long term guest and sketchy individuals hanging out in the lobby

It was a good trip and the hotel was good my only thing is, I'd rather of had a end table on each side of the bed , and the breakfast could of used a little more choices then waffles and cereal.

Good for 1-2 nights if needed. Rooms were musty. Pool was freezing and dark. Hot tub was full of sand and small. Breakfast was toast, oatmeal, waffles, orange juice, apple juice, and coffee.

The good: We received a full refund when we explained our concerns. The bad: The room was very dirty, the mattress and most of the rest of the furniture had stains, tiles in the pool were stained and some broken and even gone.

The tenants were saying they had shootings there on the weekends which made me feel unsafe

It's ok to stay if you can find other options.

Decent for the price. The place is old, but was clean. We stayed in a 2 bedroom condo. It was nice to have the extra space and living area. I was a little surprised there were no dishes or cooking utensils for the kitchen, but we made do. It was good for a two night family stay. Pool was a little sketchy, but my kids still used it.

Old dirty furniture . Thin blankets small too few towels , sink had debris and standing water Black mold on shower curtain and cabinets.

I read the reviews and looked at the pictures and I clearly did not have the same room as others or else someone is falsifying reviews. I think they must use some rooms for low income, long term rentals because my room was worse than terrible. Incredibly beat up and worn out. My room was NOT like pictured. It was gross and very dingy. The cabinets were dilapidated and the refrigerator was VERY old, broken and the freezer was frosted over. The photos show a nice granite top bathroom counter but the counter was put on top of a disgusting old, falling apart cabinet. The remote had had the batteries taped in. I had to unplug the a/c because it was so loud and clanky and I couldn't turn it up to make it go off. I have never been in a worse room - ever. Take a look at the photos presented on Hotels.com and the ones I posted below - not even close to the same. I slept in my clothes. As another reviewer said, I was very surprised there weren't any bugs or rodents. DO NOT reserve a room here without first seeing it. As a rule, I do not leave bad reviews but seeing how many good reviews there were, and how deceptive the photos were - as well as a non-refundable policy - I felt it was my duty to inform others so they don't get the surprise and sleepless night I had.

Best hotel to use to explore St. George.

I paid around $150 for a room in terrible condition, incredibly outdated, miraculously without bedbugs. I understand that prices go up based on demand and special events but I wouldn’t stay here for $50/night even if the pope was visiting. The staff were very nice and all but the room ruined it all.

Clean and quick check in. No remote for tv.

I have never stayed in a suite before and my dad and I said that we felt like kings at this property.

I'm not sure this deserves a one star. The room was not at all clean. There has been no maintenance for a long time, and furniture and appliances have not been upgraded probably since the 70s. The couch had holes in the upholstery, along with multiple stains of some kind. the microwave was so old it had turned yellow and had no plate. The TV did not work. The fridge was pre-frost free and had ice buildup in the freezer. The mattress had springs that squeaked. There were actually old used q-tips in the kitchen corners. The pool also needs cleaning.

The air conditioning in my room did not work. It was over 90 degrees. I left after 6 hours trying to cool off my room . The management offered no apologies or alternative room nor solution.
